Rosie Huntington-Whiteley reveals her entire hair routine

"First up is the Christophe Robin Cleansing Purify Scrub with Sea Salt," she shared via her video. "The first time I bought this I was like 'a scrub for your hair, what does that even do, what does it mean?' But because I have a lot of product put in my hair for work, I experience a lot of buildup. So Christian Wood, one of my hairstylists, recommended this product to me.

Basically, it purifies the hair and removes any buildup. I like to use this about once a week – the sea salt acts as a natural exfoliant and leaves hair feeling light, clean and even moisturised. The first time I used it – because it’s a scrub – I felt like it was really going to damage my hair, but it doesn’t at all. I do recommend this product for anyone that’s looking to get a deep cleanse of their hair, and bring back vitality and colour."

"I love to do a hair mask – I find my hair often goes on the drier side, so masking my hair once or twice a week is a must for me. I’ve been really loving this product from Gloss Moderne; it's a clean luxury hair care brand. What I love about this [treatment] is that you can leave it on for five minutes in the shower or you can even leave it on overnight.

Sometimes I put it on in the morning, I go out to the gym, I come back from the gym and then I rinse it off. It’ll really give you ‘instant gratification’ hair, which is what I always call it, after you’ve had a wonderful mask put in. It’s got that lovely vanilla-y soft scent to it, so I really love that for an indulgent hair mask."

"Shu Uemura’s Essence Absolue is one of my all-time favourites; it’s a nourishing and taming overnight serum. It smells incredible, it’s got Japanese red camellia in it. I like to apply this either on dry or damp hair. I find when I just wear [my hair] down and let it naturally dry, it dries kind of stringy and crispy and dry, so if I don’t have time to dry my hair in the evening, I like to apply this through the roots, tie it back in a tight bun and go to bed. In the morning its usually dry, and when I let it down, it has a nice natural bend to it.

This product is really going to leave your hair feeling very tamed and nourished and full; it’s also going to leave a beautiful shine on the hair, and it feels like it’s doing the work for you overnight. I’ve been using it for several years – it’s great for anybody who has damaged hair as well. I think I started using this right after my son was born and my hair was just so brittle and kept breaking – I had all these weird layers that were like, pieces that were falling off. And it helped to rebuild my hair strength and integrity [back] to its natural bouncy, soft form.”

"I’ve been using this haircare brand for a couple of years, I use their shampoo and conditioner and really love them. It’s another clean brand, and this is a scalp and hair treatment. I’d never really used a scalp treatment before this; I didn’t really understand what the point of it was.

Essentially it’s going to nourish your scalp, it’s going to bring balance to your skin, and it’s also going to strengthen your hair from the roots. It’s also going to protect it from any heat or frizz that you might experience and so I’ve been really liking that.”

"If you want that wet-look effect, this is a great product. I often like to apply this when I do my centre-parted bun and just smooth it over the hair. A little bit of this goes a long way, and it’s also a really lovely product to apply before blow-drying or [using] heat [tools].

You can apply it on wet hair or dry hair; for me, I have really thick hair, so it’s important that I always apply something before brushing through wet hair so not to break it any further. If I apply this through my roots when it’s wet, it makes brushing it so much easier and smoother. Christian Wood also recommended this product to me and it really does bring that luminous, reflective finish to your hair.”
