This is how to copy Rihanna’s insanely pretty highlighter look

Fenty’s 1st birthday calls for some *serious* glow
There’s no denying that in a mere 12 months, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty brand has completely changed the beauty game.
Remember when it was super hard to find your perfect foundation shade? Yeah, that’s not a thing anymore, thanks to Fenty’s focus on inclusivity (ahem, it totally encouraged the 40+ foundation shade trend). This alone calls for a celebration.
Well, Rihanna (real name Robyn Fenty and founder of the brand) was doing more than just celebrating making waves with her foundations this week. The singer-turned-beauty mogul stepped inside JCPenney’s Sephora store in Brooklyn, New York, to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Fenty Beauty, as well as launch the new Diamond Collection. And man are we obsessing over THAT next-level glow.
The secret? According to her makeup artist Priscilla Ono (who’s worked with Rihanna for years), it actually takes three specific highlighter products to master the look – and the cheekbones aren’t the only place she applied them.
It’ll come as no surprise that Ono used a range of Fenty Beauty products to create said look (duh). First off, she applied Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Girl Next Door onto Rihanna’s brow bone and inner corners of the eye for a subtle highlight. For that out-of-this-world rosy radiance, Ono applied a light layer of Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Chic Phreak onto the high points of Rihanna’s face, including blending up from the cheekbones through the temple.
To finish, she covered Rihanna’s body in the new Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil. This bad boy can be used on both the face and body and has a unique jelly-powder texture that can give your skin a touch of glittery goodness.
So if you want to nab yourself that soft, glowing look, don’t just opt for your usual highlighter-adorned cheeks. Focus on casting an all-over glow by sweeping a highlighting powder through the temples, over the bridge of the nose and across your chin. And – don’t just stop your highlighting game at your face!
With a few swipes of glowy stuff in the right place, you’ll be on RiRi’s dripping-with-diamonds level in no time.
