Yves Saint Laurent Beauté Touche Eclat Blur Primer

First off, the bottle is quite large and you get quite a lot of product for your money - something everyone appreciates when purchasing from a high end brand!  I received this along with the All Hours foundation as they were launched together and sort of go together. For reference, I have a dehydrated, combination skin type that can be a bit of a pain when it comes to long lasting foundations. I tend to find them too drying if they last all day, or they start breaking up and looking awful as the day goes on.  On my skin type, this combined with a light moisturiser underneath really helps the All Hours matte finish foundation glide on smoothly without the problem of my dehydrated skin trying to soak up the foundation during the day. The foundation itself seems to prevent the oily t-zone causing problems as well so for me, these products really work well together.  That being said, the All Hours foundation is really best suited to those with a normal, oily or oily/combination skin type. In which case if you are using the foundation, you probably wouldn't find this primer quite so helpful on oilier skin as others have said it tends to actually make them oilier.  I am only giving it 4 stars as I am not personally a fan of the silicone feel of this sort of primer and don't actually use it that much as I prefer a lighter, more radiant finish that I can achieve with products that don't require a primer like this. Definitely recommend this if you are often wearing a long lasting matte foundation that may need a bit of a hydrated boost/radiance layered underneath.

This is such a beautiful and luxurious primer, the consistency is light and silky and it feels incredible on my face. I love that it smooths out my skin and makes my pores look a little smaller. After I use this primer, my skin already looks a tad more airbrushed and a lot brighter. It doesn't feel greasy or sticky which is wonderful - I can't actually even tell it's on my face. It feels more like a hydrating moisturiser, but with the added benefit of brightening up your complexion and evening out your skin tone. It does also help my makeup last a little longer, but I use it mostly for evening out my skin tone and giving me a smooth base on which to apply the rest of my makeup. Lovely primer!

This is the perfect primer for anyone looking to blur out pores and even out their complexion. The silicone formula means this glides onto the skin like a dream. A small amount goes a long way, and is the perfect primer to even out the skin before applying foundation and concealer.

This primer works really well in terms of blurring our my pores and smooth out the texture of my face. After using this primer, my foundation just glides on like a dream and I feel like the foundation adhere to the skin a lot better.The thing I love the most about this primer is it makes my face super duper smooth like a baby butt however I found that it didn't extend the longevity of my makeup. To be honest, for the price. I wish it could make my makeup last a little bit longer since it's the main function I'm looking for in a primer.  Pros: -blur out pores  -smooth out skin texture  -help foundation adhere better  -hygienic, sturdy packaging  Cons:  -doesn't hold the makeup  -pricey Overall, I think it's a decent primer. However, as much as I love how it makes my skin feels, I still don't know if it's worth the price...

I found this primer to leave me a little oily around the t-zone after wearing all day. It goes on really smoothly and feels quite silky on the skin, but for me it didn't keep my make up in place as much as I would have liked.
