Weleda One-Step Cleanser & Toner

I was expecting to pass this cleanser on to someone else when I received it because I had not noticed the fine print when I bought it online – “for normal to combination skin”. It also had witch hazel, an astringent and not the greatest ingredient for my dry skin. However I am now halfway through the bottle and still using it once a day! It has not caused the dryness or tautness I had expected so my fears were unfounded (although to be safe I added a drop of oil to my moisturizer to prevent any moisture-stripping.) I have always been a fan of Weleda‘s natural skincare and use of botanicals, so that was why I chose this one. I was immediately taken by the fresh lemon scent which makes it a pleasure to use, as well as the convenience of having a multi-tasker in my shower in the morning! I sprinkle some One-Step Cleanser and Toner on a dampened reuseable cotton-pad and gently wipe over my face in the morning, then rinse off with warm water, leaving my skin clean, refreshed and ready for my skincare. In future I would probably choose a product more specifically for dry skin to use long-term, but I would still recommend this for all but dry skin types, as it is a really refreshing way to wake up your skin in the morning.

I love weleda products so thought I would try this one step cleanser and toner to use in order to save time. Overall I really liked it, it’s economical and easy to use with just one step. The cleanser is creamy and cleanses my skin well removing oil and makeup. It leaves my skin feeling really fresh and clean, the witch hazel acts as the toner and while I really liked it I still think I would prefer to use a separate cleanser than toner. However this is a great product to save time and I would purchase it again when this one runs out

I have tried Weleda 2 in 1 Cleanser and it is a beautiful product, that offers an excellent scent, ease of use and attractive packaging. I used this during last summer when my skin is more oily. In terms of removing sunscreen and makeup, I would need to repeat. I wouldn't use this on the eye area, I found the witch hazel ingredient a bit harsh, but I have very sensitive, reactive skin. This lotion is refreshing to use in the morning, when you don't have time to wash your face, but overall I think it would be suited to a non sensitive, oily skin type.
