Revlon Illuminance Glow™ Filter

The Revlon Illuminance Glow Filter I tried part of a trial. This product truly makes you glow. I highly recommend this product if you want to have a nice glow finish to your look. The texture was nice and lightweight. The price is very reasonable for this product. With this product I did not use any foundation on top as it was not needed, it was smooth glow finish that lasted through out the night. The price for this product is reasonable. I used this product combined with Revlon Illuminance Concealer.

I was so excited when I got the email about testing out this product! As a gal with dry skin I’m always looking for anything that adds a little hydration and glow to my face! I haven’t tried anything new recently from revlon so was very pleasantly surprised to hear of the release of this! This glow filter has been added to my face every day since I received it, I love applying on my skin and seeing my skin transform! It gives a light natural coverage whilst making pores look blurred and my skin’s texture look smoother and even. You can wear it by itself but it also looks fabulous under foundation!

I have been looking for a good medium coverage foundation for a long time because I break out so easily. I was so glad that Revlon Illuminance Glow Filter is versatile enough for me to use a primer as it blurs the pores and gives medium coverage which is enough to cover up my dark circles and dark spots. The product glides on liquid smooth and dries quickly with a dewy glow which gives a bronzer looking effect. For girlies looking for more coverage, I usually double this product up with Revlon Illuminance concealer which works perfect as a charm. End result? Flawless skin every day ! I always love it when products have a good marketing term that defines it, Glow Filter is the perfect name for Revlon Illuminance because it's not cakey like a foundation or weak as a primer so it's perfect for girlies who wants to mix and match their makeup routine for a natural look! My bf thinks I'm wearing no makeup these days ever since I started using this but we won't tell him the truth. (wink)

This is a great product which works well on its own, as a base or mixed with foundation. The product blends into the skin extremely well and you cannot tell you are using a tinted product which is great when you’re in a rush. It gives the skin an instant uplift and glow like your skin but better. When I wore it under foundation you could see the glow come through and mixing the product with foundation also had a similar effect. The doe foot applicator is great for distributing the product evenly and where you want it. It's not runny so stays where you put it until you’re ready to blend it in. The applicator gives you control about how much product you’reusing and i found it easy to build.

Revlon Illuminance Glow™ Filter: A Subtle Glow I’ve been using the Revlon Illuminance Glow Filter for a few weeks, and it’s a great choice for low-maintenance makeup days. The sheer coverage gives a natural, dewy glow, and it’s lightweight enough to feel like I’m not wearing much at all. I love the wand applicator for easy use, though I wish it came in a pump for less mess. It blends nicely, but on hot days, it can feel a bit shiny, so I use a touch of powder. Overall, it’s a solid pick for those who like a fresh, glowing finish without heavy coverage.

This product made me very oily and the sparkles in it can be too much for all over the face. The oiliness was even more so than a sunscreen and I’m not usually a very oily person. It also stuck to dry patches, making them more prominent. It’s difficult to get out enough product from the container. The lightest shade was too dark for me, very orange. There was no inoffensive scent and it’s easy to apply more to touch up if need be, but it is exceptionally sheer, to the point it feels like there isn’t much of a need for this product.

When I first applied this I really liked it. It felt hydrating and comforting on my skin. It made it glow and did look like a filter when I first used it. I applied the Revlon Illuminance tinted serum foundation over it, which is my holy grail foundation. But after an hour or two, my fine lines on my forehead started to look very pronounced, which it does do when I normally use the foundation. If you have dry skin, you might find that this doesn't work well as a primer, but instead works best if you use it by itself. The price and accessibility is fantastic but I would only use this alone and not as a primer.

Picking a shade online is always a gamble but luckily, this was true to its name! There are a few of these products on the market now and this is up there with the greats. I've started using this in place of my usual (light/sheer) foundation along with concealer as my daily routine and I love it. It's definitely a sheer formula & wouldn't suit those looking for medium / full coverage but it gives a gorgeous glow that looks healthy. Other products have a little too much highlighter int hem but you can use as much or as little as you like & you don't sparkle in the sunlight! I've found it very long lasting throughout the day and is now a staple in my routine - it let's my skin (but better) shine through for a natural, radiant & healthy glow.

I found this foundation provided great lasting coverage which held up all day even in hot weather. The bottle is a good shape for travelling and looks great on the shelf while the wand was good at applying amounts to your face without having to get your hands covered in make up. I found using a makeup brush to blend into pores worked best for me. The foundation itself is quite thick and did feel a bit heavy in terms of wear, however it blended well. The illuminating sheen was certainly noticeable and great if you are going for the popular 'glazed doughnut' however it was a bit much for me so I dulled it down with powder which worked well.

I received this to trial as part of the review crew. This is a game changing product, you can use it alone or under your foundation. It is long lasting, colour was superclose to my natural colour. There was no splitting of product during the day at all. My skin was glowing, it was a full day of coverage. it is worth the price point and something i have introduced into my routine. Revlon has created a fantastic product, affordable and something that delivers on what it promises. This new product is a filtering goddess!

First of all, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to trial this product. There are many of this glow booster products on the market , so i was curious to see Revlon’s take on it. Unfortunately, i have to say, this falls short on a few points. The packaging is nice, glass bottle, which is not travel friendly. The product looks so much darker in the bottle, i was a bit concerned when i first saw it. The first issue i have is the wand. It is a doafer applicator and a thin one . So if you want precise application, then it is ok, but the spread the product all over the face is not that easy. Now to the product. I feel like this give the most artificial glow that from the products i have tried. Luckily it is not that strong, so you won’t look like a disco ball. Luckily though there is no fragrance and it sits very well under make-up. All in all i would recommend this as it is still very nice and fragrance free and accessible. I personally though prefer another version from the drugstore

This is a great addition to your makeup routine! I used this product as a base underneath my foundation which created a pretty glowing look. I didn’t need to use much product which is great as it will last longer. Unfortunately it does look too dewy to wear by itself and makes you look a bit sweaty but combined with my foundation went great. The bottle is a great size, full of product however I would prefer a pump as I feel it will be a challenge to get those last bits. I am pleased with this product and will continue to use it every time I do my full face makeup because it just doesn’t look as good without it now!

This product comes in a very pretty bottle and I was excited to test it out. I usually use Clarins or MAC foundations so was curious to see how this would adjust to my skin. Unfortunately I found the shade I ordered darker than expected; I have very fair light skin and I need a product that blends in well and doesn't look out of place. I found this foundation didn't sit well on my skin and was too dark for my skin tone. I'm surprised as the light tone was even darker than I anticipated. A nice dewy finish but comes across as too shiny on my face throughout the day. I found it didn't last on my face throughout the day especially by the time I would go on my lunch break. We have had warm weather usually so not sure if there's a better way to keep it in place or a particular best method to apply? Unfortunately it isn't a product I would purchase again as I didn't find it very helpful to my skin care/makeup routine. It was a good opportunity to test out a new product but I would recommend to anyone interested in purchasing to try out a tester in store to see how it sits on your skin and to find the right shade which compliments your skin best. Revlon is a great brand and I would still be keen to dabble in their products again in the future!

I was pleasantly surprised by this product! Despite it looking a little darker than my normal shade in the bottle it applies beautifully and not too dark at all on application. I have yes this product in a variety of ways, all will great success. Firstly as a primer under my normal foundation for a lit from within glow or on its own for a sheer, no makeup makeup look. Definitely no disco ball vibes and stayed on really well even without setting powder or setting spray. I will definitely repurchase this product as it's great value and has many uses. I didn't notice any fragrance and no issues with sensitivity or reaction. This would be a really good option as a highlighter for anyone who is looking for a very natural glow

The Revlon Illuminance Glow Filter really lives up to its name! I found this product to be super hydrating and gave me an effortless beautiful glow. It’s the perfect product to achieve the no makeup, makeup look on days when you don’t want to wear a full face. I also loved using this as a highlighter as well when doing a more full coverage look after seeing someone do the same thing online - highly recommend The product is easily applied with the applicator. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for an affordable lightweight product

As someone who does not wear heavy makeup I really liked the Revlon Illuminance Glow Filter. The stuck applicator allowed direct transfer of product onto a beauty blender for an even and mess free application. It’s lightweight and smooth, and gives an even, natural look. The glow was noticeable but didn’t overdo it. It also didn’t add any greasiness through the day. The product was gentle and no irritation. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting a lightweight, subtle glow. Even without touch-ups, the finish stayed intact and looked fresh all day long.

I have the Revlon Illuminance Glow Filter in the shade 2 and I am loving it. At first I thought it might be too dark for my very fair skin, but I can get away with applying it all over my face and not just to the high points. It adds a very sheer wash of colour, barely noticeable, but the glow it imparts is stunning. It truly gives a lit from within glow to the skin. This has been my favourite formula of these glowy filters I've tried so far. I didn't get a single breakout, and there is no obvious glitter or shimmer to the skin so pores aren't accentuated. The packaging is fuss free and I like that not too much comes out on the doe-foot applicator. My pet peeve is when the applicators distribute too much product. I find that I don't need to re-dip for more product unless I really want to amp up the glow. Absolutely love this glow filter.

First of all a moment for the glow on this product…. I’ve never owned a foundation with this consistency and look before very keen to wear on a night out with a full face of makeup. Keen to try it with other products and how they work with each other. I love the packaging and size of the product. The wand is perfect size too that’s not too big and not too small and I like the applicator. I researched into the product after receiving it and I believe it lived up to the description. Would definitely recommend as a staple.

I love trying any new products that promise to give your skin a beautiful glowy finish, but unfortunately this one missed the mark for me. Whilst there’s nothing inherently bad about it, I just didn’t see what value this brought to my skincare routine. The applicator was different to what I was expecting when I opened it, seeming more like a larger lipgloss wand. It made for getting enough product out of the tube difficult. Whilst a little went a long way as the liquid was quite thin, it didn’t seem to give any noticeable coverage despite the tint, and the shimmer wasn’t vibrant enough to show through when applying further makeup on top. Without any additional products, it just made my face look shiny and not in a glowy way. The colour wasn’t quite the right shade for me, seeming to have a reddish undertone, and it kinda seemed like an add-on product just for the sake of it. Sure, you can apply on top of your makeup too but feel like you can get the same results with products likely already in your makeup box.
