Revlon Illuminance™ Gel Serum Blush

At first when I tried this product on top of makeup, I didn’t like it- it separated my foundation and I didn’t like the way it sat on the skin. I tried it again with a different foundation and base, and the same thing happened! I was really looking forward to using this product but then when it happened again, I got dissapointed and left it for a while.. I had the blush out on my makeup desk, and after a couple of weeks went by I thought I’d give it another try because I really didn’t understand why it wasn’t working for me!! So I gave it another try. I thought I’d give it another try- and go for a more natural look- no foundation, just some tint on the cheeks and lips and it sits and looks FAB! Pigment is there and looks stunning On the skin! Great product for the natural clean girl look! Highly Reccommend for a quick application/ pop of colour For the girlies in a rush that love the minimal look!

I received this product to try as a review crew member. I would recommend this product to those who want a natural, flushed look for their blush. It is perfect for everyday simple make-up or for a no make-up look. It is easy to apply and blends easily to your skin but you have to be quick in blending it as it dries quickly. I just used my finger tips to apply it as I normally do with other cream/gel blushes that I have used. I used it direct on my skin without any primer or foundation and looks good, although I didn’t get the dewy look that it’s supposed to give. It didn’t cause any oiliness on my skin nor any skin breakouts. It lasts all day so if you are like me who doesn’t have much time to apply make-up on or to do re-touches through out the day, this can be easily included as part of your prep routine.

I loved this product! It was a lovely colour, it gave a natural flush. It wasn't too bright and was a nice neutral blush. It was definitely a buildable formula and I loved that you could go for more a sheer colour look to a more full colour. I liked the texture and formula I found it really nice and dewy. It didn't conflict with any of my other products that I use. I even wore it some days without any other makeup underneath. It was super easy to blend. I would definitely use this again and would definitely buy again. Would recommend this product.

Appears bright when you first squeeze it out of the tube, but applies beautifully on skin either straight after skincare for a natural flush. For a more glam glow, I applied it over foundation but found the pigment quite subtle, so I set it with a powder blush for a higher impact effect. This will also make te blush last longer, as it tends to fade when applied to bare skin. Overall a good blush for that I would recommend for day to day. Apply with fingers or a sponge depending on you preference, but I found it blended very easily with a sponge.

While the color I chose wasn't ideal for my olive skin tone, the creamy texture and ease of application were fantastic (a huge plus for someone who usually prefers powder blush!). The finish is a dream - not shiny or flat, but a perfect glowy in-between. Plus, it lasted all day without fading, unlike some other cream blushes I've used. The high pigmentation means a little goes a long way, which is great! While I'd love to see more shades available, the formula itself is fantastic and I'd definitely recommend it to friends, just with a heads up that shade selection might be key.

This liquid blush ticks all the boxes for convenience and quality. The liquid formula is easy to apply and blend quickly and evenly. The packaging is as convenient as it gets, with a size that's perfect for tossing in your purse and a dispenser that doesn't cause any issues. The blush provides a radiant finish and is well pigmented so you only ever need a small amount. The blush has a silky texture and is light weight. Even as it starts out sheer, it's easily buildable, allowing you to deepen the color with just a few extra layers. I would try this again and in other colours too.

I was really skeptical when I received it. BUT I have to say: Revlon Illuminance™ Gel Serum Blush exceeded all of my expectations. I received a pink colour 120 Striking rose. It is so pretty on my light medium asian skin. The first time I applied it it was a bit too much. You literally need a tiny tiny dots of the product on each cheek. So the tube will last you forever! You have to blend it really quick as it is a serum blush and absorbs and sets in really quick. I got the hang of it and another cheek was worked out really quick and it is so pretty. The texture is light and it is very moisturizing. You don't feel it at all on your skin. Would definitely be repurchasing this product.

The Revlon Illuminance Gel Serum Brush is a beautiful makeup-skincare hybrid product. I like using by itself on my bare skin for a slight flush of colour, or when I’m double blushing – I like to use this as a cream blush base. It’s a really smooth formula which I find blends really easily. Blends great with fingers and brushes so you get the best of both words. I wouldn’t say it’s a very long lasting blush, but it’s great as a flush of colour. It does stay on longer when I layer it with a powder blush. Also because of the gel-like formula, it brings a lovely glow to your skin.

I was a bit scared when I first saw how vibrant the colour of this blush was. And having not used a serum blush product before I only applied a tiny amount but quickly realised how seamlessly this gorgeous blush blended out with my fingertips. This blush is so easy to apply, blend, and is buildable so it really takes any fear out of the application process. I love the hydrated feel and appearance, as someone with dry mature skin, this is so lovely compared to a powder product. I didn’t feel the need to set the blush however if your skin wasn’t dry you could probably use a little translucent powder. I really enjoy using this blush and will absolutely be repurchasing.

Revlon Illuminance Gel Serum Blush is extremely light feel but will appear with intense pigmentation but blending out will make it very subtle, Definitely buildable, recommend starting with less and adding more as needed. Goes on very smoothly and It gives a dewy/hydrating look being a gel rather than a powder.i do think I prefer this gel serum rather than using a powder. there does appear to be a slight shimmer to it. I would recommend giving this a try if you looking for more natural or “no make up” look

I have been trialling the Revlon Illuminance Gel Serum Blush in the shade 110 Enchanting Mauve. It comes in a nice compact tube, which I did initially think was a little small but I now know a little of the product goes a long way for me. I applied my liquid makeup as per usual and would then apply the Revlon Illuminance Gel Serum Blush to my cheekbones. I prefer to apply my blush and makeup with a sponge and found it blended well doing this. The texture is quite lightweight and comfortable on my skin and it does allow for buildable coverage to achieve the desired level of flush. The gel formula is different to any other blush I have used but I do like it. I wouldn’t say it was hydrating but I did like the dewy finish of the product. Overall this is a good product, with a unique gel texture at a reasonable price point.

I have used this for the last two weeks, the enchanting mauve shade and loved it! It is easy to apply and looks flawless. I love that I can adjust the depth of colour, so I can have it subtle for every day wear and more striking when I want to look more ‘done up’. It also doubles as a nice tint for lips and eyes. So versatile! The fact it is also skin care is a lovely bonus! My first time using a blush serum and I will continue using this and recommending to everyone! I’m excited to experiment with the other shades of this blush.

I would definitely recommend this to people who prefer a more natural makeup look. It’s subtle but buildable. It’s important not to blend it in too much though and just gently dab it on, because the pigment can almost disappear entirely. Once it’s applied you cannot feel it at all, which is great on days where you don’t feel like putting on a full face but want a little bit of colour and a glow. I tried the colour enchanting mauve which is surprisingly natural, although the shimmer through it can be a little intense if you build the product up.

I received this blush in the Striking Rose shade to trial. It does look very intense when you see the colour but once dabbed onto my cheeks with my fingertips it blends out so well and gives my cheeks a lovely flush of pinky rose colour. It's very blendable and easy to work with. You can build the colour up by simply adding more. It doesn't have any scent and comes in a squeeze tube. The texture is thicker than a serum - It's more like a cream but melts down once blended between my fingertips. I haven't tried applying this with a brush as applying with fingers works so well for me. I apply this over liquid foundation and it also works well over my powered foundation too. It lasts all day, doesn't go patchy and is comfortable to wear and isn't sticky at all. I'd buy this again because it looks so nice and is very easy to use - looks great too! Loved this trial.

I absolutely love this blush. I have the colour Striking Rose and it's the perfect spring summer colour. It's so vibrant but even then when you blend it out it becomes a sheer wash of colour on your cheeks and makes you look like you have a healthy flush. I really love the consistency of the blush as well. It's a gel serum consistency. It blends so easily on the skin and you can build up or sheer out the blush as much as you want. It also has a very natural dewy finish which adds such a nice glow and colour to the face. Personally, I like a more matte face so I just set the blush with a bit of translucent setting powder and it looks so natural. The gel serum blush is such a pretty colour. Looks so natural on the skin, blends so easily and sets really nicely too. It doesn't set too fast like some other blushes which means you have a time to blend it out and build it up if you want. But when it does set it stays and doesn't move which I really like. Which means that the blush lasts all day.

I have recently been using the Revlon Gel Serum Blush in shade 120 Striking Rose as part of the review crew. I have not used a blush like this before and was eager to trial it out. Striking Rose is a beautiful red shade. I have quite pale skin with pink undertones. I was able to get a good look with a small amount of product, however I feel the shade would be better suited to someone with a deeper skin tone. A little bit goes a long way with this product as it is so highly pigmented. It is also very buildable to achieve the look you’re after. I have been using two small drops on each cheek. I found the product blends out best with finger tips, rather than beauty blender or brush. I would definitely recommend this product formula for anyone looking to try out a serum blush. I am definitely going to try other shades in this range

I am a huge blush lover, the type of person that in a rush out the door I would just use concealer, blush and mascara for my quick make up look. I normally use prestige brands and have only every used powder blush, so this trial of the Revlon Illuminance Gel Serum Blush was my first time using a liquid formula. I found the first couple of times using this serum formula a little tricky to control however with more practise I have been able to get this to the right pigmentation and placement I like. I am loving how fresh this product makes my skin look throughout the day and will definitely continue to use and repurchase.

This was the first serum blush I have used and I was blown away. I usually stay away from liquid products because I find them patchy, too thick or too saturated so I was a bit skeptical when I received this to trial. However, upon first use I realised that this serum blush is on a whole other level. The formula is lightweight and feels so nice on my skin, even when layering on top of foundation. It gives a ‘glow from within’ look and can be worn as a sheer tint or is guidance for a more bold look. I wore this by itself and also set with a similar colored powder blush and both had spectacular results. I found it best applied with a sponge, the brush did leave it rather streaky. I think I’m now converted with liquid blush! I can’t wait to see the color range that is released!

I am grateful for the chance to try this product with REVIEWcrew as I have always been sceptical of anything other than a powder blush - I am so happy to say that this is no longer the case! I was intimidated by how this would feel, blend and stay, but I was pleasantly surprised when with just a small amount of product was all I needed, it blended beautifully and stayed on all day. It adds the perfect pop of colour, and leaves you looking and feeling fresh, perfect for a busy mum like me. My young daughter is showing an interest in makeup now and I did not hesitate to let her have a play with this, it was gentle to her skin and she had the best time getting to play with ‘mummy’s big girl makeup’. Over foundation, I was worried about how I would blend this in, I just lightly dabbed to blend and had no trouble at all. I can easily see this becoming a part of my daily routine and know it’ll last me a while, which I love.

I am generally very careful about my blush applications and colour match as most blushes on the market can be over powering. I normally like a natural clean look, I was pleasantly surprised by Revlon illuminance serum blush as it’s easy to blend and the colour can be layered on gradually. It gave me a roast red glow on the cheek bone without taking too much focus away from my overall makeup. The blush is serum based so it glides on silky smooth and has high stay on power. It stayed in tact after a hot day without giving me breakouts!
