Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Parfum

Dot by Marc Jacobs is a really nice fragrance and the bottle is super cute too.  It's not something that's mature or feminine but more playful and unique.  It's a fruity and floral scent that's sweet and the perfect scent for spring and summer.  While it's an EDP the fragrance is light and not too strong.  It has notes of red berries, honeysuckle, coconut, orange blossom and vanilla which is delicate and blends together nicely.  Unfortunately the scent does not last that long which is a downside to the fragrance.

I loved Dot the first time I tried it but I have grown to dislike it since wearing it. It is not as fragrant as Marc Jacobs other scents which is my biggest problem as I am a big floral lover. If you are looking for a subtle fragrance, I would definitely recommend

DOT has surprised me with its lightness. I was expecting something heavier and sweeter, having read the fragrance notes before hand. I'm not saying that it isn't sweet - I just find the sweetness fresh and zesty, rather then cloying and obviously artificial. While the bottle is childish, I quite like it and think it is unique and pretty. Red and black pokadots. It comes in 30, 50 and 100mls bottles. DOT's top and heart is a mild mix of fruit, honeysuckle and watery orange blossom. I can't separate the exact berry notes used, maybe currants and raspberry? I'm also not familiar with pitaya, but I'm guessing that it the source or the mango-like accord in the fragrance. There is also something vaguely citrussy in DOT, that stops the sweeter fruits and florals from becoming too overbearing. I adore the soft base to DOT. The woodsy notes and soft musks are so clean and airy, whilst the slight hint of coconut gives everything a comforting creaminess. Official scent notes: Red berries, pitaya fruit [dragon fruit], honeysuckle, jasmine, orange blossom, coconut water, vanilla, driftwood and sensual musk. Overall, I would say this is a floral/fruity fragrance, but it's musky enough to give it some depth. It's not super feminine and sweet, however. I feel like this could equally be a daytime or night time scent; strong but not overpowering. I especially like that it really lasts, but also- it still smells great by the end of the day, unlike some that change a bit too much as time goes on. Dot is very wearable and can be worn to work, casual wear/weekends and crowded parties, but it's not unique enough to make me feel glamorous on special occasions.

This pefume is one of the most popular fragrances from Marc Jacobs. It is a sweet floral scent that is not too strong and overpowering. After using this scent I feel so lively and awake which also is a bonus towards my confidence level. This fragrance is a must have for all the ladies out there !  This is suitable for those who are into sweet floral scents or those who are into Marc Jacobs Fragrances. One of my favourite scents to use on a daily basis ❤️

Dot is definitely the most uniquely designed bottle on my dresser - it is a vibrant ladybug design, bright red with large black dots and very hard to miss!  I like how Marc Jacobs design interesting bottles to match their gorgeous fragrances. This is a vibrant, joyous, fruity floral. It's fun to wear and perfect for when I want to wear something that's a bit girly, a bit summery & very pleasant overall. Dot is an Eau De Parfum strength, with modest silage & pretty good staying power. Dot has been a very popular fragrance since it was first released & I can see why, it's such a pretty scent and bottle. Truly gorgeous on every level!

This is one of the perfumes I love in my collection. It smells sweet and girly. And the bottle is so quite. The first time I saw it, I had to buy it no matter how it smell. It smell great so it is totally worth the $$.

Amazing perfume!  I feel in love with this perfume the first tie I tried it.  The bottle is so gorgeous and t=a perfect way to house the beautiful scent inside.  It's a lovely sweet scent that can be worn during the day and out to see friends, on a date, whatever really, at night.  It lasts for a long time on me.  Highly recommend Dot.

The perfume with a bottle that is a work of art.  Seriously how beautiful is it?  Marc Jacobs has put a lot of work into making sure that the bottles for his perfumes are something amazing! Out of them all, Dot is the one that stands out the most in my mind.  With the signature polka dots and a cap that is an amazing flower with a ladybird design.  When I'm finished with the perfume it would seem such a shame to throw the bottle away as its so darn pretty. I was once told that a perfume that perfectly suits you is one that you can no longer smell on your body but others can.  I have no idea how true this is but it seems to work for me.  When I'm wearing the scents that I can no longer smell after half an hour,  I have people comment and ask what I'm wearing, or they will tell me that I smell lovely.  Dot is one of those perfumes.  It doesn't take long and I feel as if the scent has faded yet I'm proven wrong time and time again when people around me comment on my scent. Dot is a mix of berries and various florals in the scent and they all seem to work wonderfully together. The only issue with this scent is that the bottle being as amazing as it is means that its not travel friendly so if you want to carry it with you to work or on a holiday then it would be best to invest in a travelo. To get the best value look out for gift packs around Mothers day and Christmas time.  I got my bottle of Dot in a gift pack with a matching shower gel and body lotion.

My all time favourite of the Marc Jacobs perfume collection. I just love his bottles and this one is just adorable, reminds me of a ladybug. I love how sweet it is but its not too sweet to overpower you. It's a perfume that I go through quite quickly and will always re-purchase when the bottle is empty.

Love this perfume and I'm keeping the bottle, FORVER! This is a sweet soft perfume, which is so distinct, that every time I wear it, someone asks me what I'm wearing and I'm more than happy to let them know. It just smells so good. It's perfect for wearing all year round. It smells sweet, with a dash of fruity berries and slightly citrus. It smells so good, I had to walk away in the middle of this review to go spritz some on just to have the pleasure of this fragrance! Love it, DOT, you got my heart!

The is up there as one of my top favourite perfumes currently in my collection. Not only for the addictive, floral pretty scent but for the design of the bottle itself. It is so delicate and cute, and looking at it you'd think those wings on the lid of the bottle would snap right off so easily, however it is surprisingly very strong and sturdy! This scent I would describe as being an easy scent, in terms of I could just sit there smelling it all day without it getting up my nose or smelling obnoxious or too much. Like smelling a bunch of roses, you can breath it in and get the aroma and it just smells fresh. I hope I am making some kind of sense! I recommend trying it in store or getting a sample first and you will get what I mean. It's just lovely!

LOVE this perfume. Perfect for every day and isn't too over powering. "Borrowed" it from my sisters room and she never got it back. It's great for re-applying throughout the day especially after lunch. It's quite warm with floral notes..
