Definitely not for me.
It has a lovely smell and left my hair smelling great. However I found it itchy for my scalp. I tried it over a couple of weeks and it just became worse for me. It could be just me and may be ok for someone else. If you have sensitive skin then maybe this is not for you. I won't be purchasing this as it did not suit my skin type. It actually took a few more weeks to rid the itchiness unfortunately. I even tried using my regular shampoo in between washes and it still became flakey on my scalp. It just did not work for me.
Nice gel like consistency
I have been experiencing hair fall since almosa year now - probably because of stress. However, I have started using L’Oreal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density shampoo along with hair vitamins to address this issue and have noticed reduced hair fall but I am not sure what worked. This smells a bit minty which I don’t mind as makes me feel fresh, but might be the right one for someone who don’t want fragrance in their haircare products. This shampoo lathers up well and cleanse properly and is of nice consistency as well. I will have to keep using it longer to see the results.
Unsure…
This shampoo has a lovely smell, it doesn’t foam as much as other shampoos but does leave my scalp feeling like it’s been thoroughly cleansed. Unfortunately, I did not personally experience any change in the density/volume of my hair. For reference I have fine hair that has never been coloured or bleached. I also do not use heat styling tools on my hair. I think to notice changes longer use of the product is needed however based on my experience I do not think I would repurchase but I would recommend others to try for themselves as they may notice different results.
Pretty blue colour
The L'Oreal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Shampoo is a really nice product that lathers quite nicely.
I found this product really good to use as a second shampoo as I felt it really helped to clean my hair, leaving it silky smooth and smelling incredible.
The bottle is a really pretty blue colour and captures the eye and the product itself is a really light blue which is nice.
After trialling this product I found my scalp not being as dry and flaky as it previously was.
I would recommend this product.
Wonderful fragrance
Hi there. Thank you for choosing us to trial this product. I love the smell of this! But unfortunately I didn't see any change. I used it as often as I could as directed. My poor hubby's skin broke out also. He has sensitive skin and has many issues with different products, so we won't take it personal 😂
I still use it every now and then though, simply because of the smell!
My 11 year old has used it a couple of times now and she says it makes her hair feels amazing. She has beautiful, long and curly hair.
But thanks for letting us trial this!
It’s ok
Pleasantly smelling shampoo except I don’t think it completely suited my hair and I’m not sure if it was because my hair is coloured and bleached or if it’s because I’ve got fine hair. I like to double triple cleanse with this but I didn’t feel a lot of volume come up, even though my hair was pretty clean after. Almost more on the limp side. It’s easy to use otherwise and lathers up well which is a good thing. In conjunction with the serum, I’m glad that my hair doesn’t fall flat completely as that’s my number one worry usually and I did see my baby hairs grow longer this time around
L'Oreal Serioxyl Shampoo
I have been recently trialling this shampoo, in combination with the matching serum. Packaging: the packaging is very high quality and stylish. Product: the product is of very high quality. It is a more gel-like consistency, which is not gloopy. It lathers easily and your hair and scalp feel nice and clean after use. It does have a faint chemical smell - reminiscent of a high quality hair salon - but it is still pleasant and not off-putting. It leaves your hair feeling very soft and manageable. After use: I haven't noticed any increased hair growth after using this product, however I will continue to use it to see if it just takes a while longer to work. I have noticed much less hair fall though, which is a positive thing! Although it hasn't yet worked on my hair, I would recommend for others as it is a top quality product.
Its OK
I found the L’Oreal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Shampoo to be quite nice and smells good, however found no noticeable difference in hair growth for my thin hair. I used it in conjunction with the L'Oreal Professional Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Serum and found I had to wash my hair far too frequently. I trialed it for 6 weeks but wont be continuing with it as I wasn’t a fan of the serum which I assume is needed for any real hair growth. Shampoo on its own was ok but did not improve my hair in any noticeable way, unfortunately wouldn’t recommend it.
An enjoyable experience
I have included the L'Oreal Professional Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Serum and the L'Oreal Professional Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Shampoo into my hair-care regime for a few weeks now and have been pleasantly surprised. I'm not totally sure that my hair has increased in density, however I have enjoyed including a product with magnesium in my routine. The texture of the shampoo is lovely, thick and soft, and I quite enjoyed the fragrance - it wasn't too strong. I also liked the fresh feeling on my scalp afterwards. My hair was definitely shinier and felt healthier, but I'm not sold on an increase in density.
Alright but wouldn't buy again
I have been trialling this product as a Beauty Crew member for a month
I have not noticed any growth and my hair is still some what falling out.
I wouldn't purchase again.
On a plus note, it comes in a nice easy to handle and use bottle, has a beautiful smell to it, lathers up great and washers out amazingly.
I think to have a proper feel of if it will work for you or not you would need longer then a month as things do sometimes take time, whilst I wouldn't purchase it again I think it is worth a shot for anyone, the price point of it isn't bad and a good reputable brand.
Love it!
I have been trialling this shampoo for about a month now and I am quite impressed.
There are many things to like about it.
- It lathers well and is easily distributed througout the hair for a thorough wash.
- The scent is unisex with a slight minty smell which is not overpowering or lingering.
- It leaves hair clean and soft and scalp completely refreshed.
- It doesn't cause any irritation or have an unpleasant cold feeling.
- Only a little is needed.
- My hair is soft, fresh and shiny after using.
- It doesn't strip the hair.
- My blowdries last longer.
- My hair seems to have more volume than when I use other shampoos.
I would purchase this again.
Nice shampoo
After a terrible experience with some medication and its side effects, it has caused some hair loss which I’m still battling with. I receieved this product as part of the Beauty Crew review and was instantly intrigued by the benefits for hair density. I have used it a handful of times and it’s a regular nice shampoo. The scent is nice albeit quite subtle and the texture of the shampoo is light weight and watery. My hair does not feel weighed down after washing. I have been using it together with the serum and I haven’t noticed any difference to the thickness of my hair but perhaps you need to use it for a longer period to see results. Packaging of the bottle looks good.
Density shampoo
I have been using the scalp advanced seriously density shampoo for a bit over a month now,
I love that the packaging and bottle feel real, like they are professional and not a supermarket colourful range
I do love the feel of it and the smell is nice and fresh , the blue shampoo it lathers very well and it definitely leaves my hair feeling clean and fresh , possibly a little dry though?
It doesn’t feel greasy or heavy so that’s great,
As for the hair growth, I haven’t had any noticeable changes as yet , but saying that it’s still early and I have high hopes for it to work
Effective Scalp Cleansing, But Patience Required
I've been using the L'Oreal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Shampoo in conjunction with the L'Oreal Professional Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Serum for the past few weeks. While I haven't witnessed any dramatic changes in my hair density just yet, I do have some initial thoughts to share about this product.
Firstly, the scent is a bit chemical-like, but it's not overly overpowering, which is a plus. The shampoo lathers really well, and I've noticed that I only need a small amount to cover my entire head. This means the bottle should last for a while, making it a cost-effective option.
One noticeable benefit is how clean my scalp feels after each use. The shampoo effectively removes build-up and leaves my scalp refreshed. However, I do have a slight concern that it might become too stripping if used too frequently. As a result, I'm planning to cut back on its use to once every week and a half to two weeks.
While I haven't seen significant results in terms of increased hair density just yet, I hadn't expected to after only a few weeks. I'll continue using this product to see if it delivers on its promise of promoting hair density over the long term.
In summary, the L'Oreal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Shampoo provides a deep and refreshing cleanse for the scalp, and a little goes a long way. However, it's too early to determine its impact on hair density, so patience is key if you decide to incorporate it into your hair care routine.
Noticeably thicker hair
I am in my late 30’s and have short, thin hair. Needless to say, I was very excited to try this new shampoo from L’Oréal!
Although I don’t love the scent, it lathers really well and leaves my hair feeling noticeably thicker and healthier. I have even received comments from people at work about healthy my hair is looking so it is definitely working!
It is easy as using as any regular shampoo and I am using it in conjunction with the L’Oréal spray.
I would definitely recommend to anyone who struggles with fine and lifeless hair!
Good but not great.
I have been using the L’Oreal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Shampoo alongside the Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Serum for several weeks. I think it’s a good combination together for fuller hair after styling, however I don’t think it’s going to give you a really noticeable difference long term. It does lather well and makes your hair feel really clean after washing, although I do think if you were using this every time you washed your hair, it had the potential to dry it out. On the plus side, my scalp can be a little oily sometimes and I did think that this was improved. I do really like L’Oreal and overall I think these are good hair products, but not great.
GROWTH
I have been using the L'Oreal Professional Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Shampoo with the L'Oreal Professional Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Serum. I really love the shampoo it is a thick constancy and makes my hair feel clean and fresh after using. I have found in the past month my hair is starting to get thicker and areas that i had alot of post partum breakage and growing back alot faster.i think it has really helped using both products together . I would recommend this product to give a try if you are struggling with thickness or hairloss.
Minty fresh
The L’Oreal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Shampoo is a good shampoo if you’re in need of a deep clean to your scalp, it’s refreshing and has a nice minty scent. The mintyness provides a cooling touch to the scalp, although I wouldn’t use this shampoo more then once a week, I found my hair squeaky and dry after using this, felt very much like the oils had been stripped away with all the dirty. I made sure to follow up my wash days using this shampoo with a hair mask in place of conditioner, was the only way I could get the brush through after washing! Recommend use with care!
Improve hair density and easy to use
After trialling the shampoo with the serum regime. I would have to say i did see there was less hair fall. My hair became a bit more denser and noticed baby hairs growing after using it for a few weeks. With continued use it may produce results in the long run. Worth a try for those wanting to help with hair thinning. The shampoo is has an easy cap to open. It also lathers well so a little goes a long way. I hade used the shampoo 3- 4 times a week along with the serum. It did leave my hair more shinier. The product smell was not overpowering with a blue transparent liquid.e
Haven’t noticed a change
I have been using the L’Oreal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Serioxyl Density Shampoo for a few weeks as part of my hair care routine. I have paired it with the serum.
I have long and fine hair and am always wanting to find ways to help thicken my hair.
The shampoo was nice to use, lathered well and left my hair feeling very clean. It didn’t irritate my scalp which is something I do struggle with. The bottle is nice and sleek.
However I can’t say within the timeframe I have noticed much of a difference in the thickness of my hair.
It might need more time to see results but it did wash my hair nicely and left it feeling nice and clean. Couldn’t hurt to try this if hair loss is a concern just might need to use over a longer period of time.
