Clairol Root Touch-up Concealing Spray

This is such a handy spray for in between colour applications. I colour my hair in darkest brown but have found my roots tend to need doing quite quickly before I need a full colour. I used dark brown and it matched my hair colour really well and covered greys with ease, my hair looked great. It’s usually to use, the nozzle is good, just spray carefully and a good result is achieved. It’s quite economical for between colour and makes my hair colour last a lot longer. This lasted really well until my next hair wash, it’s great for if I am going out and don’t want any pesky greys showing. Great product, I would buy this again and would recommend it

I colour my hair out of necessity due to 20% greys that are practically white against a black brown regrowth. My hair grows fast and roots start showing in three weeks. That's why I need root concealing products towards the end of my hair colour cycle (between 4-6 weeks). I bought this spray thinking that it would be great to evenly cover my roots. Since Clairol's colour tend to run dark on me, I selected medium brown to match my box dye colour (dark brown). The spray has a tiny nozzle so that you can point at the patch that you want to colour. There is a bit of vapour when you use the spray. The instructions say to spray 15cm away from roots, but when doing that especially above my forehead, the vapour does travel and marks my forehead with tiny dark spots. So I end up having to cover my forehead with tissue and spray carefully. So this is not a product I can apply quickly since some care is required. The colour is just right - medium brown looks like dark brown on me, it colours my greys well. The colour seems to stay on until I wash my hair, which is usually within the same day. I haven't tried exercising heavily in it, so I'm not sure if it would stay on with sweat. Overall the product works well, there are no clumps and the coverage is quite good, as long as you protect your face and clothing. It's reasonably priced. However, it's not a repurchase for me since it can be messy.
