Burt’s Bees Vanilla Bean Moisturising Lip Balm

This is one of the many varieties of untinted lip balms from Burts Bees, in their usual twist-up format with a cap. It's very compact and fits in a small handbag, and is lightweight and great for travelling. I love the fact that it doesn't have any tingling peppermint oil or menthol, just lovely plant oils, butters and beeswax. A single swipe gives good coverage since it has just the right texture without being too sticky or waxy. It has a subtle vanilla scent that it not too strong or sweet. The finish is natural, not too glossy or slippery, making it work well under lip colour. It has excellent moisturising properties that stays for hours for day time wear. It's not quite enough for my dry lips as an overnight lip balm though.

I love anything with a vanilla fragrance or flavour so Burt’s Bees Vanilla Bean Moisturising Lip Balm hits the spot with me. I have no trouble applying this balm regularly throughout the day because of the delicious flavour. This lip balm is nourishing and conditioning and leaves my lips feeling soft and smooth. I think the balm glides on easily, absorbs well and isn’t sticky or greasy. I used this lip balm during a recent trip to a very hot outback country town and I was pleased that regular use of this 100% natural lip balm protected my lips and prevented any dryness. The slim line wind-up tube makes it easy to use and I like that the tube can be recycled.

Lightly sweet in scent and not overpowering normally I don’t like vanilla scents but this vanilla bean they’ve got right for me the Burt’s Bees Vanilla Bean Moisturising Lip Balm glides over my lips effortlessly leaving a smooth coating of balm. My lips feel soft and smooth once I have applied it to my lips and find that the balm is long lasting as I don’t find the need to re apply frequently. Handy and small enough to have in your bag or pocket to use throughout the day. I would buy this again and recommend it to family and friends.

Love these Burt’s bees lip balms, infused with beeswax and soothing butters they are a real treat for lips. I love the vanilla flavour of this one, it has a creamy waxy consistency and protects and nourishes my lips with ease. At $7.50 it’s so economical and great value and I can buy a couple to throw in different handbags so I always have one on the go, it is a product that really works. I apply this several times a day to protect my lips from sun and wind, it’s light and comfortable to wear, non greasy and gives my lips a lovely sheen. I would highly recommend this product
