Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes – Cucumber & Sage

I generally prefer a proper cleanse to rid my skin of makeup and residue, but makeup remover wipes are an ideal way to 'precleanse' to remove excess makeup and mascara, for situations during travel when you can't cleanse your face properly, or for just a skin refresher throughout the day.  I've never tried any wipes from Burt's Bees before but I was pleasantly surprised by these. I was initially attracted to the cucumber and sage ingredients and knew they would smell amazing (and they really do). These wipes contain cucumber and sage extracts and smells pleasantly fresh. Cucumber is a great ingredient as an environmental pollutant remover and does have some anti inflammatory properties. These wipes are also high in aloe vera, which is one of my favourite ingredients for moisturising and conditioning the skin. As these wipes are quite saturated with product, they wipe makeup off thoroughly and easily without the need for much dragging against your skin. My biggest issue with most wipes is that they aren't wet with enough product to remove makeup and dirt effectively and easily and you have to work pretty hard to get most of it off. These ones aren't like that. They also don’t sting my eyes, which is again another concern I have with most other wipes. They leave my skin feeling soft with no residue, and are budget-friendly as well considering you get 30 wipes when most other packs come with 20 or 25.  Overall these are a super handy beauty tool to have in your arsenal. They work really well to remove makeup and dirt from my skin, are quick to use and the smell is just so nice! And even though I have oily skin and these are targeted towards drier skin types, it doesn't make my skin oily or feeling heavy. 

There are super sweet wipes that make taking off makeup fun. The wipes as advertised, smell amazing and are totally fun and fresh to use on your face. They aren't oily or covered in product and to be completely honest they feel a little bit dry! However these are perfect for going on holiday as they feel very tropical and lift your mood! Would recommend them but probably not for regular use.
