Burt’s Bees Conditioning Mocha Lip Scrub

I love the smell of this lip scrub. It's yummy! I often suffer from dry cracked lips and I love to use this mask at night and then apply one of my Burt's Bees lip balms or their overnight lip treatment. The scrub removes and lifts away any hardened dead skin on the lips and leaves the lips feels super soft and when I rub my lips together they almost feel like I've got lip balm on because they feel hydrated and renewed. I don't find this to be messy at all and I really love the packaging which I found easy to use and store.

This lip scrub comes in a small brown tub, and the texture is a soft balm containung repurposed coffee grounds as the exfoliating beads. Firstly, it smells and tastes like a good mocha cake and not artificial. If only I could eat it! The formula contains nourishing ingredients like castor oil, beeswax, shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil. You dip your finger and apply the scrub on your lips and gently work it around the lips, then rinse off. It gets rid of any dead skin on the lips, It doesn't rinse off clean, it leaves lips nourished like you've just applied lip balm, which is sort of handy. I seem to be a bit clumsy and end up getting the balm over my upper lip and lower lip areas too, which you really notice, because of the waxy feel feel even after rinsing, which is great for the lips but not for the surrounding area. I think this is a product that you only need to use once a week. I like the idea but it's one of those things in my bathroom drawer that I keep forgetting to use. But I do enjoy it when I remember to use it.
