I recently tried the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam One Hour Express and found it to be a decent product, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. Received this item as part of a BeautyCrew trial. For reference, I have super fair skin and my skin is dry/normal. I tested to first test it out on my legs to see how the colour was before doing anywhere else. It was my first time using a self tanning foam. I found the colour a bit too dark for me and I didn't like that it stained my sheets/hands. It didn't seem the easiest to use/get an even colour, but that may be user error. Overall, I don't think self tanners are for me and I'll stick to my fair complexion.

Usually day prior to tanning I will make sure ive done all hair removal and exfoliating, the day off I don’t apply moisturiser or deodorant to my skin before tanning to get best results. The best results at home always come from my Bondi Sands One Hour Express Tanning from. Starting from my feet using my tanning mitt I work my way up my body, leaving my face until last. I like that the foam comes out dark and once applied to my skin I can see where I’ve applied so I don’t miss a spot or over tan in any areas. Scent free which is fantastic, once applied the tan feels dry on my skin not wet at all which means I can move about the house if I want to. I also would choose this over any brand as after rinsing I’m left with the most beautiful golden glow, the tan being green/blue based is always a good guarantee for me that my fair skin will look this way after only leaving for 30 mins as my skin really grabs to tans and I like a light to medium tan/coverage. I finish off with moisturising my skin to make sure my skin looks and feels its best which also prolongs the life of the tan. I highly recommend this tan for everyone as you can adjust the depth to your own liking.

After many fake tan experiences with varying results, I’ve tended to avoid any fake tanning products in general. I was a little hesitant to try the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam One Hour Express, but I went in with an open mind and gave it a go during my recent Queensland trip. The can was easy to use and distributed a steady stream of foam, which was simple and quick to apply. The overall finish was decent, but I made the mistake of being too eager to get dressed after applying - would definitely suggest leaving it for a couple more minutes to dry thoroughly. The result (once I got it right!) was an even and natural-looking tan, with no visible unevenness or streaks. It looked great and I am now back on the self-tanning team!

As you can see from the title, I am not experienced with tanning products. I read the instructions on the can as well as on the Bondi Sands website, which mentioned applying with the Bondi Sands application mitt, but that wasn't sent to us for the trial. So silly me I - I thought the mitt was not necessary, that since it's a rinse-off product that will take up to an hour to develop on my body, I could just rinse my hands immediately after application. But within the minutes I used to apply the product over my legs, my palms were already stained and I could barely get it off with soap. I used my left hand more than my right for application and my left palm became noticeably more orange days after the initial application. The product itself is easy to use - it is self-foaming out of the pump and dark brown in colour so that you can see where you've applied. There is no smell as it's fragrance-free. It didn't dry out my skin and left it slightly hydrated. It was quite easy to rinse off in the shower. Bondi Sands' website listing for this product recommends leaving for 30 minutes for a light to medium tan, 1 hour for a dark tan and 2-3 hours for the darkest result. This formula continues to develop after you rinse off. It is very effective and the colour is reasonably natural, though slightly more orange than I hoped. Still, it's useful for adding a bit of colour to my pale winter arms and legs.

I’m no fake tan expert but I think the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam One Hour Express hits the mark when it comes to delivering a natural looking tan. When I first used this foam I couldn’t believe how easily and smoothly the foam spread over my legs without leaving any streakiness or a dry patch in sight. There was no sticky feeling and the foam dried very quickly. The foam was able to deliver a beautiful colour in only an hour, so I left it at that because I didn’t want anything darker. No mess and no Oompa Loompa look, just a lovely natural looking tan. I’m looking forward to giving the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam a good work out at the end of Winter.

This tanning foam was very simple to use. I really liked that it is fragrance free and doesn't leave my skin looking orange. It also doesn't make my skin look green like some tans can do. I liked that it only took 1 hour to develop and the results were really nice. I am happy with the colour it gives my skin. It's quite perfect. It's not streaky at all either. This tan made me feel better about myself during winter because my skin was tanned and I felt like I had been on a summer holiday and was sunkissed. This is a tan that I will continue to use and re-purchase and can't wait to use it this coming summer when wearing dresses etc.

A great way to get tan in less than one hour! It's so easy to use and apply and I love the colour that it provides. One of the biggest things that puts me off from take tan is that a lot of times the colour can look so fake and orange. I'm happy to say that this self tanning product looks quite realistic and doesn't have that Oompa Loompa looking colour that I desperately want to avoid. I like that the self tan doesn't look streaky or patchy and creates an even colour all over my body. It's also a good way to cover up any imperfections I have on my body so a bonus! You can also use it on your face too. The price is affordable, I like that it's cruelty free and vegan and of course it's Australian made and who doesn't love that? Whilst summer is still months away, I can still enjoy that tan, glowing, summer skin all year long.

I really loved this Bondi sands self tanning foam one hour express. It gives a really nice healthy natural looking tan, a glow just like I have been on holidays. It’s easy to use, just pump the pump action bottle a couple of times and the foam comes straight out and applies easily, sinking straight in with no streaking or nasty orange colour. It dries really quick, I had no staining on clothes or sheets and the only left the foam on for half an hour as I have olive skin and I found this was long enough, then I showered, so simple. I loved that this tanning foam had no nasty smell which a lot of tanning products have and also that it was actually quite hydrating, so many fake tans make my skin feel so dry but this one was different. It’s budget friendly, a great price and so much cheaper than paying for a tanning salon fake tan. Overall this product was a winner for me, Bondi sands is a trusted brand and I would buy this product again and would highly recommend it

This fake tan is awesome. I love the colour it gives you, that there is no sticky feeling and that it is easy to apply. This is my go to product! I have very dry skin and this does not make it worse, does not go patchy and does not give me the orange glow some fake tans can. AND I can get this with leaving it on for only a few hours!!! The only thing I dislike about this product is the classic fake tan smell- which, lets be honest, I have been unable to find a product that doesn't have this smell! Also, the mess it leaves behind on the sheets. I have tried a number of other brands that don't tend to do this, but I can overlook it and cover up because the final product is worth it!!

This is for anyone who is new to tanning or is looking for their perfect colour to simply work out on their skin. I personally have dry skin, but this gives it a moisture boost plus a gorgeous colour tone. It has an overall great smell, fabulous colour and can be layered well. I use a tanning glove to apply so the hands are well protected. I truly love this self-tanning mousse that delivers a hydrated and bronzed glow upon application. Although I get result's I want in just one hour, it even deepens to a richer tone over the course of 12 hours. Skin is not only gorgeously tanned but hydrated too.
