Aveeno Skin Renewal Exfoliating Scrub

I am a dermatitis (eczema) sufferer, usually centred on the front and back of my hands. At the time of starting the trial, I thought nothing of it. I used the aveeno skin renewal scrub in pairing with the aveeno skin renewal smoothing lotion, and after as little as a single week I noticed that the eczema almost completely vanished. No longer is my skin irritated and patchy with it, my skin everywhere is smoother than ever and I'm thoroughly impressed. Whilst I do wish the scrub had a little more exfoliating properties, I still think it's basically perfect. I would definitely buy this for myself, and reccomend it to everyone.

The Aveeno Skin Renewal Scrub works amazingly to gently exfoliate the skin. It light scrubs off the dead skin cells leaving the skin soft and even looking brighter. I used this scrub every 3 days and I found it very easily integrated as part of my shower routine. I've used this on my pregnant belly and i feel it has helped me to prevent gaining stretch marks. Used in conjunction with the Aveeno Skin Renewal Moisturising lotion. The scrub produces a creamy lather to gently exfoliate and moisturise the skin; and leave it looking smooth, soft, and hydrated.

I recently gave Aveeno Skin Renewal Scrub a shot, and it's become a staple in my skincare routine. The gentle exfoliating beads did wonders in removing dead skin cells without being harsh on my skin. I loved how refreshed and smooth my skin felt after each use. The natural ingredients, like soy and kiwi complex, gave it a pleasant scent and left my skin looking brighter. It's not one of those scrubs that leaves your face feeling stripped; instead, it managed to balance exfoliation with hydration. The Aveeno Skin Renewal Scrub was nice and some what easy to use, especially in conjunction with the AVEENO Skin Renewal Smoothing Lotion. However, The Aveeno Skin Renewal Scrub was not as pleasant to use. I found it extremely messy and hard to spread over my limbs. I tried using it dry, slightly wet and in the bath but i did not have much success. Maybe i was doing something wrong? I have used harder and much messier scrubs than this. But i just did not love it! The Aveeno Skin Renewal range was nice, but i much prefer the AVEENO Skin Renewal Smoothing Lotion on its own.

Usually I'm not the biggest fan of body scrubs as they just feel like too much work for not the best results, but this has changed the game for me! The scrub had a nice balance of exfoliating seeds/beads and didn't feel like it scratched my skin or ruined the skin barrier (as other scrubs tend to do). This scrub exfoliated any dead skin and dryness away. leaving my legs an arms feeling smooth and moisturised for days (even if I forgot to apply moisturiser). My skin felt glowy and fresh after each use. I found that the scrub did not aggravate my sensitive skin or keratosis pilaris, and provided a soft and soothing exfoliation.

I have been trialing this product for the past few weeks as part of my shower routine, with focus areas including my upper arms which suffer from ‘chicken skin’ (KP). I have found the scrub has helped with this area but not completely removed bumps yet. I found the packaging easy to use and more hygienic than the usual tubs that shower scrubs come in. I found the amount of granules lacking for this scrub - I wish there were more larger/rougher granules so that it was a bit more ‘scrubby’ on rougher skin. Overall I enjoyed this product and would consider buying in future.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this scrub. I’ve been using it on my legs which get very dry and scaly especially after I’ve been on holidays at the ocean or during winter. The scrub is gentle and it removed the dry skin off my legs. Using it all over my body leaves it feel soft and supple. It’s been a lovely exfoliating scrub and I’ve put my dad into it who suffers from very dry aged skin. I also love how it’s fragrance free and it doesn’t irritate my skin which also suits my dad. I recommend people with dry, scaly or bumpy skin to give this product a try, because it’s well worth it. The affordability is also great, I’m really pleased with the outcome and coupled with the moisturising cream your skin feels useful again.

First off I was hesitant as I’m coming off roaccutane and my skin is sensitive and dry. I’ve been struggling to find a way to exfoliate and keep my skin soft and smooth without irritating it. I am so happy I tried this! It doesn’t have any fragrance so no irritation there and it’s SO gentle. I was thinking it won’t do anything because it honestly didn’t feel like much when I was using it but after drying my skin and feeling I was so pleased. It left my skin extremely soft and smooth and didn’t irritate in any way. I will forever continue to use this and recommend. So in love!

My skin is normal but on the dryer side at times. I can get away without moisturising but I do get the occasional dry patch - this product was perfect for getting rid of just that! I love that this isn’t too course and just the right amount of graininess. It spreads easily and you don’t need to much of it for your full body. I usually use a scented body lotion after the shower so I love when products don’t have a strong smell that interferes with that. Overall I would recommend this to all skin types and would repurchase over and over!

Personally, I have bumps that are quite prominent on my upper arms and on my thighs and those were my focus areas when trialling this. I have used Aveeno moisturisers before but this was the first time using this scrub. The Aveeno Skin Renewal Exfoliating Scrub was definitely very gentle on the skin and it doesn't have that roughness to the beads that feels like you're scratching your skin and I think it is due to that it the formula is like a runny paste- that works well to emulsify with water. I don't have sensitive skin but I feel that this would be a great benefit to other people who don't like that sandpaper feel. Just make sure that you double check that you have rinsed properly as there were times I came out of the shower realising that not all of the granules were washed out of my skin. Feeling my skin the next morning after my shower I have noticed a difference in my skin. Normally I can still see some dry scaly skin but when using this, there was none of that. I would liken this product to a in-shower lotion because of its hydrating effects. This is on the budget-conscious end of pricing and for what it can do, I highly recommend this. My only suggestion - remember I don't have sensitive skin- but I would prefer a scented version because that sensory smell is part of my showering experience.

This scrub was gentle and effective at removing the dead and dry skin. It didn't over lather, but provided enough to gently wash may skin. It wasn't overly scented, more of a clean oat kind of smell and washed off nicely when showering. It left my skin clean yet not stripped making it ready for moisturizer to be applied after drying. I have very sensitive skin and it didn't make me react so a huge bonus. I will be continuing the use of this product. The product came in the standard Aveeno packing which is consistent with their branding. It was in a reasonable size tube so would last a fairly good amount of time before needing to re purchase. My skin improved in dryness over a period of time which I feel was contributed to by the use of this product. Being winter my skin is usually quite dry but given my skin senstivity I am restricted by certain products to use. I really enjoyed trialling this product and recommended my son and husband use it for their skin also, being a family fav!

When I first got this product I was really excited to try it out and see what it could do for my strawberry leg situation. I have to say, I’m pretty impressed with this scrub. It’s gentle enough to use frequently and extremely effective! My legs are smooth and look less ‘strawberry’, I’m going to keep using this and I think with consistent use, my legs are going to to summer ready in no time! Will definitely be recommending to anyone who is looking for smooth skin but can’t stand harsh scents or scrubs.

I was lucky enough to trial this product thanks to the beauty review crew. The Aveeno skin Renewal Scrub is a lovely scented gentle in shower scrub that removes dry, rough skin with consistent use. I feel like this product would be amazing for sensitive skin that isn't used to harsh scrubs or chemicals. While it slightly exfoliated and moisturised my skin, it didn't feel like it exfoliated enough to make a difference for someone who regularly tans and has keratosis Polaris on their upper arms. Beautiful product for my young children and their skin feels moisturised for at least 24 hours.

What a great product! I mainly used it on my arms and noticed a difference from the first time using it. It left my skin feeling so soft and so moisturised. It is exfoliating for dry skin and the product is not as all rough or bumpy. My hands feel so soft after using it too! I even tried it on my face when I ran out of product and I must say that it left my skin feeling so soft. I received numerous comments about how good my skin was feeling. Will definitely purchase this product again and would love it to be made into a face wash also!

I use this Aveeno Skin Renewal Scrub for my morning shower. I use the scrub just before I shave my legs along with my exfoliating glove. It helps my legs to feel smooth after each shave. I have very sensitive skin and this did not flare up my sensitivity. There no film or residue left over from the scrub. Oh also and there is basically no smell! So if you are not a fan of strong odours, the scrub is for you! Use hand in hand with the Aveeno Skin Renewal Smoothing Lotion for amazingly soft skin!

I have KP so I need to exfoliate every day to combat it. I'm usually worried about over-exfoliating but this scrub saved me. It was gentle enough to use every day and helped me with my KP! My skin feels soft and smoother than before! I also have sensitive skin so I have to be careful as I sometimes can have a bad reaction to beauty products but there was no bad reaction at all with this! I also love how the bottle is squeezable and large enough so I don't feel guilty about exfoliating my whole body! I love Aveeno and this made me love them even more!

I really enjoyed this scrub! In the past I've used coffee ground/salt scrubs to exfoliate - and while they feel nice afterwards, you can just tell that they are probably being too rough. This scrub hits that mark perfectly of being a scrub, without being too rough for sensitive skin. My skin felt smoother, and I noticed a reduction in pumps and bulid up over my body. I really enjoyed the scent as well - it wasn't too overpowering, but lovely there in the background. Such a great price point, I would happily repurchase.

This scrub is good for sensitive skin like mine, I experience Psoriasis and dry ski, especially during winter. Physical scrubs are often irritating to my skin, however this one was gentle enough for regular use and made a difference in the condition of mh skin. It removed dry patches on my chest and arms and wasn’t too rough on areas of psoriasis on my elbows and knees. It worked well in conjunction with the body lotion and ensured that my skin was happy and well cared for. I think this would be great for all skin types but especially those that are dryer in winter and need some extra tlc
