Ride or die: 5 top-rated Priceline dry shampoos that'll save your strands

Sweaty, greasy strands don't stand a chance

Beauty Crew Beauty Editor / June 26 2024

Dry shampoo is without a doubt the most ride or die hair product in our hair care arsenal.

Having a busy week and can't carve out the time for a lengthy two hour everything shower? Conserve water and have a five minute speed shower instead, and just douse your strands with a healthy spritz of dry shampoo on the way out.

Early morning boot camp class left your lengths looking a little worse for wear, but you've got to haul ass to a 9am meeting? Soak up all that sweat with a dry shampoo and pull your hair back into an office-appropriate chignon. Sorted.

You can even sleep in the stuff and brush it out in the morning for a freshly tousled and voluminous head of hair in a flash.

Long story short, when your hair's most in need, that's when dry shampoo does its best work. And the best part is, the inexpensive product is readily available from the pharmacy.

Looking for a new dry shampoo to reach for in your desperate hour of need? Ahead, BEAUTYcrew shares the best dry shampoo on offer at Priceline.

Is dry shampoo good for your hair?

Dry shampoo is a helpful hair freshener when you're trying to extend the period of time between your hair wash days. But it's more of a once in a while product than an everyday hair essential, as it can cause scalp build-up, which can clog pores and damage hair follicles leading to hair fall and thinner hair. Try to limit your use of dry shampoo to two to four times a week to prevent build-up and incorporate a scalp-purifying scrub or mask into your hair care routine to keep your scalp balanced, clear and healthy.

Can I sleep with dry shampoo in?

If you have oily or greasy hair, but you don't want to shower in the morning, applying dry shampoo to the roots of the hair before bed and then brushing out the product in the morning can be a great way to absorb excess oils, refresh your style and enhance volume.
