Twice a year, fashion's elite descend upon Paris for Haute Couture Week. The week presents an opportunity for couturiers to let their imaginations run free and design without the constraints of ready-to-wear practicalities. Like the couture on show, the beauty looks presented are always exquisite and this year's runway has delivered an impressive showcase of creative hair and makeup at its finest.

Here are the best beauty looks from Paris Haute Couture Week 2020, so far...

Dior

Dior’s show was a celebration of the female divine. Models wore Grecian-inspired beauty looks featuring braids, metallic headbands and a quirky double winged eyeliner look by Dior Makeup’s Creative and Image Director Peter Philips.

CHANEL

CHANEL sent models down a runway set inspired by Coco Chanel’s childhood convent school wearing pared-back makeup looks with dewy skin and subtle taupe contouring around the eyes. For hair, renowned celebrity hairstylist Sam McKnight created sleek looks.

Ralph & Russo

Hair and makeup took a nostalgic trip back to the ‘80s at Ralph & Russo seeing bold eyelids in baby blue, lilac and pink as a standout feature. Hair was brushed back into half-up/half-down looks with subtly-teased bouffants and capped off with oversized bows.

Iris Van Herpen

At Iris Van Herpen's aquatic-themed show, facelift tape applied at the outer edges of brows gave models' features an otherworldly look. Flashes of pastel pigment appeared not just on eyelids but across brows and cheekbones. Hair also took an imaginative turn and was adorned by twists of locks in contrasting tones.
