Nicole Kidman’s Australian Open braid is about to become your new summer staple

Nicole Kidman is having somewhat of a hair renaissance of late. From that gorgeous velvet bow which sat perfectly atop her ponytail at the Golden Globes to those effortlessly undone waves at the Critics’ Choice Awards, our Nic is the beauty muse we never knew we needed.

Cue her most recent outing at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Thursday night, alongside the ever-doting Keith Urban. 

The Big Little Lies star wore her textured tresses in a loose fishtail braid which she wore to one side. A few stray tendrils at the front only softened the cool-girl hairstyle. The final touch: a pair of pearl earrings.

This humidity-friendly twist is the perfect hair refresh for an afternoon BBQ or day at the beach. Bring on the sunshine.
