Miranda Kerr’s wedding day makeup tutorial
She reveals how she created her stunning bridal look
She reveals how she created her stunning bridal look
When we think of celebrities with flawless skin, stunning makeup and oh so rosy cheeks, Miranda Kerr is one of the first names that come to mind. And while the model and founder of skin care brand, KORA Organics has experimented with a plethora of different beauty looks over the years, her radiant skin and dewy blush has become her signature beauty look.
So, it was no surprise that Miranda chose to stick with her go-to look on her wedding day. In a makeup video tutorial she shot with Vogue, Miranda has revealed the steps she used to apply her own makeup for her recent wedding to Snapchat CEO, Evan Spiegel.
The how-to video breaks down each step and product she used to create her “simple and timeless” wedding makeup.
To begin with, the model spritzed her clean skin with her very own KORA Organics Balancing Mist before using the NuFace Microcurrent Facial Device to give her skin a “lifted” effect. To finish up her skin care, Miranda applied facial oil and a soothing moisturiser to ensure her skin would remain hydrated and smooth underneath her bridal makeup.
For her base, Miranda applied a compact foundation from Japanese beauty brand Suqqu to even out her skin tone before gently blending RMS Un Cover-Up Concealer underneath and around her eye area. Next up was blush (La Prairie Cellular Cream Blush in the shade Rose Glow was her product of choice), which she applied to the apples of her cheeks and eyelids “to make the eyes pop.”
As all the products Miranda used to this point have focused on brightening and adding radiance to the skin, Miranda pushed a pressed powder into her skin down the T-zone to set her base makeup and reduce shine.
For her signature pink pout, Miranda prepped her lips with Laura Mercier Flawless Definition Lip Liner in Baby Lips before topping it with Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm.
To tame her brows, Miranda used Glossier’s Boy Brow, an all-in-one brow product that works to thicken and groom brows while setting them in place.
A hint of a Tom Ford brightening eyeshadow was then applied to her lids, along with a generous coat of Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes Mascara and a custom blend of two Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks in Walk of Shame and Amazing Grace.
