The panel
Beauty Crew sent Maybelline New York Colour Sensational Made For All Lipsticks in two random shades to a panel of women with a range of different skin tones that were aged between 18 to 39 and were looking for a lipstick that would take the guesswork out of finding a shade to complement their complexion.
The lowdown
Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about Maybelline New York Colour Sensational Made For All Lipstick.
How pigmented the lipsticks were: Reviewers were very impressed with the high-pigment colour payoff that they were able to achieve with one swipe of the lipstick.
How good the colours looked on their skin tone: Many of our members were surprised to find that when they used shades they wouldn’t usually wear they actually looked incredibly flattering. In particular, reviewers who received the Fuchsia For Me shade were initially worried that the punchy pink colour wouldn’t suit them, but they were pleasantly surprised at how flattering it actually looked on. Some even said it’s now their go-to choice when they’re looking to rock a bold lip.
How hydrating the formula was: Reviewers were quick to note that the Made For All range was incredibly smooth and hydrating on the lips, and unlike when wearing other lipsticks, they didn’t need to apply a lip gloss or balm throughout the day to prevent drying, flaking, cracking and crumbling of the lipstick.
