The eyeshadow hack Kim Kardashian loves
Mario Dedivanovic proves that he’s a makeup genius, yet again
Although we’ve already had a week full of Kardashian news that’s ranged from Kylie Jenner releasing her biggest makeup launch to Kim Kardashian West debuting her new asymmetrical haircut (which turned out to be a very convincing wig), it seems that Kim, along with her chief makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic wanted to add more beauty news into the mix.
Taking to his Instagram, Dedivanovic revealed his simple but genius trick for creating Kim’s signature glossy nude eye makeup, which surprisingly involves concealer instead of eyeshadow.
“To achieve a look like this on the eyes, I used a cream concealer in a darker shade on the lids (as a shadow) followed by the eye gloss,” says Dedivanovic.
Not only does the hack cut out the need for a multitude of powder products, it enables you to create a glamorous look that’s perfect for day or night with little more than a bit of blending with your fingers.
For those who aren’t sold on the glossy eye look, simply set the concealer with a touch of translucent powder to ensure it stays put all day (and all night) long.
