MAC’s new fragrances perfectly match your fave lippie
They’re bringing a whole new meaning to signature scents
There are few lipstick shades as iconic as MAC’s matte red Ruby Woo, or as adventurous as their bright purple Heroine shade and neon pink Candy Yum-Yum. They are undeniably the queens of lipstick… but fragrance? Watch this space.
Considering there are few combinations better than a powerful lip colour and a killer scent to match, we’re pretty excited about MAC’s announcement that they’ll be launching a collection called MAC Shadescents, which pairs six of their most popular lipstick shades with fragrances that have been specifically concocted to reflect the personality of each.
Ruby Woo, the vivid, blue-red has been paired with a woody floral scent, while Velvet Teddy, a deep-tone beige shade is reflected in a wild honey scent. Candy Yum-Yum goes hand in hand with its fruity floral gourmand counterpart for a fun, feminine vibe, or you can opt for the alluring amber musk notes of Crème d’Nude when wearing your faithful Crème d’Nude muted peach beige lipstick. Then for those who want to really stand out from the crowd, you can spritz on My Heroine for a daring woody leather aroma that matches Heroine’s statement matte purple hue.
MAC Shadescents will be launching February 6, 2017 so you’ll have to be patient, but we have a feeling they’ll be worth the wait.
