The product
If you have been guilty of overplucking in your youth (*raises hand in shame*) and are sporting sparse brows as a result, trying to create thick, full and natural-looking arches that’ll last all day can be a real mission.
But L’Oréal Paris have come up with a two-in-one brow tint and gel formula that makes getting the natural and voluminous brows your heart has always desired a possibility. You only need one swipe of the L’Oréal Paris Unbelieva’brow for a natural look, although it can be built up easily to create a bolder brow if you’re feeling a little more daring. Best of all, this little guy is smudge-proof, transfer-proof and waterproof so you don’t have to worry about it budging throughout the day.
Our panel of Review Crew® testers put this product to the test.
The panel
Beauty Crew sent L’Oréal Paris Unbelieva’brow to a panel of women aged between 18 to 34 who have sparse brows and wanted to create thicker, more natural-looking arches that can withstand the chaos of their busy lives, without the commitment and permanency of a microblading procedure.
The lowdown
Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about L’Oréal Paris Unbelieva’brow:
The natural and full brow look they were able to achieve: Reviewers loved that they were able to achieve the look of fuller brows with only a small amount of product. They also like the buildable formula and its ability to create a more dramatic, bold brow look; some reviewers even noted that the results were comparable to microbladed brows.
How the gel lasted all day: Review Crew® members loved the staying power of this bad boy, with many explaining that the brow gel didn’t budge, smudge or transfer. They were particularly impressed with just how waterproof the formula actually was, with some saying the eyebrow gel lasted through intense sweat sessions at the gym.
How convenient the product was to use: Reviewers were impressed that the gel was faster and easier to use than their regular brow pencil due to the quick and even dispersion of product. Members also commented that their brows didn’t need to be touched up during the day because of the gel’s staying power, but noted that it was easily removed with micellar water at the end of the day.
Good to know: The doe foot applicator can be a little tricky to use at first, with some reviewers saying they found it dispensed product onto their brows a little TOO well. However the good news is, this can be quickly remedied by either swiping off some excess product on the neck of the tube, or by using the angled brush provided to apply the brow gel in smaller strokes to help mimick the shape and texture of brow hairs for a more natural look.
