Beauty Crew sent L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo, Conditioner, Pre-Shampoo Mask and Dry Shampoo to a panel of women aged between 25 and 54 who suffer from oily roots and dry ends and were looking to extend the time between hair washes.

 The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about the Elvive Extraordinary Clay haircare range: 

How it helped control oiliness: After using the entire range, the majority of the Review Crew® testers were happy to report that they noticed a reduction in oiliness at their roots, which meant they got an extra day or two from their hairstyle before they needed to wash their hair again. They also commented that the lengths of their hair felt soft and healthy after washing.

How the dry shampoo gave them an extra day before washing: While some testers experienced some dryness from using the dry shampoo (our tip is to focus the formula just at your roots), most reviewers were thrilled with the results of the dry shampoo, finding it helped to refresh their hair while adding a touch of volume, too.

How unique the pre-shampoo mask was: Most testers admitted they had never used a mask quite like the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Pre-Shampoo Mask before, and while many commented that it did take some time and effort, it was worth it. Applied dry at the roots before shampooing, they found the mask helped reduce oiliness and leave hair feeling fresher after washing and conditioning.
