The nostalgic scent that reminds Lila Moss of her mum
She may be the face of Marc Jacobs’ new fragrance ‘Perfect’, but the scent that Lila Moss can’t get enough of is actually one that reminds her of her mum, supermodel Kate Moss.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the teen model admitted there’s a particular scent she associates with her mum at a very specific and special time in her life — when she was pregnant with Lila.
“I went into my mum’s bathroom one day, and I was, like, ‘What’s that smell? It’s so familiar,” Moss told the publication.
The scent in question was rose oil and ylang ylang oil, which Kate was mixing with her moisturiser; “she said she did it when she was pregnant with me. I hadn’t smelled it since.”
Though Lila loves unexpected subdued scents like her mum, the rest of her beauty stash includes some cult-faves that everyone can get around for a healthy, fresh face.
We’re talking skin care heroes like Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream and Embryolisse moisturiser, paired with a bit of Too Faced Better Than Sex waterproof mascara,“for when you want extra-long lashes on the beach.”
