Kourtney Kardashian’s trainer reveals the exact workout behind Kourt’s enviable bod

With summer fast-approaching, we’re lapping up all the fresh workout inspo we can get our hands on. And, today the fitness gods have blessed us!
Kourtney Kardashian’s trainer Amanda Lee has come through with the goods, revealing the star’s exact high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout via a blog for Kourtney’s lifestyle website Poosh.
If you’re not already familiar with HIIT, the workout is basically made up of short, timed bursts of high-intensity exercises. The result? Smashing your fitness goals in no time, and hel-lo summer bod!
But the good news doesn’t stop there. Kourtney’s HIIT workout requires no equipment and you can easily do it in the comfort of your own home. How good!
So, if you’re keen to train like a Kardashian, here’s the lowdown including video demonstrations by Kourt’s trainer.
Move #1 / Squat jump into jumping lunges
What to do: Start by doing a regular squat before jumping explosively and landing back into your squat position. Repeat this three times then immediately follow with three jumping lunges, alternating which foot is in front each time. Once you’ve finished your lunges, start from the top and repeat the squat jumps and then the jumping lunges, again.
How long to do it: 30 seconds
Move #2 / Mountain climber with push-up
What to do: Start in a plank position before performing four ‘mountain climbers’ by raising your knee towards your chest. Once you’ve done four reps, do a push-up before repeating the whole thing again.
How long to do it: 30 seconds
Move #3 / Burpee with 180 degree squat jump
What to do: No HIIT workout would be complete without (at least) a few burpees thrown in for good measure! Start standing with your feet hip width apart before squatting down and placing your hands on the floor in front of you. Jump your feet back into a plank position before quickly jumping forward again towards your hands and then coming up to your original standing position. Perform a 180 degree jump, landing in a squat position before starting your burpee series again.
How long to do it: 30 seconds
Move #4 / Jumping jack into jumping jack plank
What to do: Do ten jumping jacks before dropping down into a plank position. While remaining in the plank position, jump your legs wide apart then back together. Repeat 10 times before returning to standing and repeating the exercise from the jumping jacks.
How long to do it: 30 seconds
