The key to achieving Kourtney Kardashian’s signature dewy skin look
According to her makeup artist
Though many beauty trends come and go, dewy, glowing skin is a look that just never goes out of style. And, when it comes to nailing this coveted beauty look, no one does it like Kourtney Kardashian.
Now, Kourtney’s makeup artist Wendi Miyake has revealed exactly how Kourtney’s signature dewy look is achieved, in a blog for Poosh. It seems the key to the look lies in her pre-makeup skin care prep.
“Preparing the skin is the most important part of creating this look. I start off by exfoliating the skin with Kiko Milano Scrub & Peel Wipes” said Miyake. Kiko Milano isn’t currently available in Australia but we love Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads.
“Scrub around the nose, forehead, chin, lips, and anywhere there is texture or dry patches," explained Miyake.
"Next, I cleanse the face with Bioderma [micellar water] on a soft cotton pad to remove any remaining residue. I use a light mist of Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist and let that settle in.”
“Following the spray, I apply [Hora x Poosh] Hyaluronic Halo + CBD Serum all over, then finish with the Augustinus Bader [The] Cream. Give that a few minutes to settle, then you’re ready to begin your foundation.”
Once this is complete, Miyake then applies a sheer base coat of foundation, tinted moisturiser or CC cream before highlighting the high points of the face using Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter and Danessa Myricks Dew Wet Balm.
To finish, Miyake uses By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder to target any specific areas of the face that might be prone to shine before capping it all off with a spritz of Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist.
So there you have it! Go forth, and get your glow on.
