Kim Kardashian literally looked dripping wet at the 2019 Met Gala
She took the “wet look” to a whole other level

Rumour has it that the Kardashian-Jenner fam were previously banned from the Met Gala by Anna Wintour. And in 2012, those rumours were cemented when Kanye West attended the event without his other half, Kim Kardashian.
But in 2013, Kim appeared at Kanye’s side for the first time at fashion’s night of nights and hasn’t been absent since. She’s since revealed that she felt so insecure at the event, she went home and cried.
We actually thought pregnant Kim looked fab and every year since she’s continued to step it up with her Met Gala beauty looks.
This year, Kim has brought nothing less than her A-game and has blessed us with this INSANE hyper-wet look hair and makeup vibe.
And here’s a close-up of her face, ‘cause it’s that good.
Oh boy, can someone PLEASE take us out of the oven because we are DONE.
Kim’s go-to makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic created the look using a bunch of Tatcha products to prep the skin before starting on the makeup, including Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Lifting Mask, Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream and Tatcha Violet C Brightening Serum.
Dedivanovic then used makeup from Kim’s own KKW Beauty range (of course) including one of the pair’s collab products – the KKW x Mario 10 Pan Eyeshadow Palette. No surprises there!
As for the hair, hairstylist Chris Appleton took the “wet look” brief to extremes by creating damp-looking curls that give the impression Kim has actually just stepped out of the ocean.
We think Kim might have just *won* the 2019 Met Gala.
