What Kendall Jenner eats in a day
Her sister Khloe Kardashian calls it the “anti-model” diet
Kendall Jenner doesn’t follow a typical model’s diet. Let’s be real: She’s blessed with such good genes that she can get away with eating pretty much whatever she wants (hint: fried chicken is one of her favourite foods!). But, having a career as a model means the young 24-year-old does need to balance the bad with the good, and she regularly sweats it out at the gym to keep her hot bod in shape.
What is Kendall Jenner's diet?
Unlike Kim Kardashian, who is on a plant-based diet, and Kourtney Kardashian, who’s a fan of keto, Kendall Jenner isn’t on a strict diet; but she does eat a balanced diet. Her mornings usually start with avo on toast, and for lunch she’ll keep things healthy with something like grilled chicken and brown rice. But come dinner time, she prefers to eat out and order whatever she wants, such as burgers and pizza.
Kendall Jenner’s food philosophy
Kendall has a pretty down-to-earth attitude towards her diet. “Everything in moderation,” she once said during an interview. “Nothing wrong with cheating a bit, and treating yourself to something sweet. Life’s too short.”
Here’s a breakdown of what Kendall Jenner eats in a day, plus her go-to workouts.
Breakfast
Kendall isn’t much of a cook, but she does regularly whip up a nutritious breakfast for herself. "I don't cook that much besides my standard eggs, avocado, and toast breakfast,” she shared on her app.
Like her sisters, who are often promoting detox teas, Kendall says she drinks up to 12 cups a day! "I usually start my day off with a cup of [Kusmi] Detox Tea," Kendall told E! News.
Lunch
Always on the go, the former Victoria’s Secret model doesn’t have much time for lunch, but she told Harper's Bazaar, "I typically eat lean chicken and brown rice, and am always snacking on raw veggies with dip and hummus."
Dinner
Her sister, Khloe Kardashian, refers to Kendall’s diet as the “anti-model” diet. "She loves burgers and pizza and goes to In-N-Out all the time. Kendall is my go-to girl on cheat day!"
Kendall tries to eat out a few nights a week. “I always make sure to have one or two nights a week out with friends, where I'll get dressed up for dinner and be social," she told Harper’s Bazaar. Her favourites? "Nobu for sushi or Craig's, where I order the vegan spaghetti Bolognese or margherita pizza.”
Guilty pleasures
Where do we begin?! "I love everything unhealthy," Kendall confessed to Harper’s Bazaar. "Pizza, fried chicken—everything."
A few years ago, Kendall spilled some more of her top guilty pleasures on her app. "I have low blood sugar, so I definitely need things to keep me going (aka lots of food!)," she said. "Here's what will forever and always make my list: Twix, Justin's Peanut Butter, chips and guac, and hummus and carrots. See, pretty simple—just feed me and I'm ready to go!"
She’s also into froyo. "I'm also obsessed with frozen yoghurt," Kendall told E! News. "I could eat it every day, but I aim for twice a week to treat myself.”
Kendall Jenner’s workout routine
Not a fan of cardio, Kendall prefers lifting weights to keep her bikini body in check. "I hate cardio," she told Harper’s Bazaar. "I'd rather just stand there and lift some weights than run in place.”
“I prefer to workout in the morning. To stay toned, I do a lot of ab work with my trainer, Gunnar Peterson, and occasionally I'll take a kickboxing class.”
According to Peterson, when Kendall’s prepping for a runway show, she amps up her workouts. “She’s very active and she travels a lot but before the Victoria’s Secret thing she was in five days a week. It’s not really strength training, it’s a combination of movement, strength and high-intensity intervals.”
Kendall Jenner’s pasta with peas recipe
On her app, Kendall shared, “I have a few super-simple recipes that I consider my 'specialties.'" One of them is fettuccine with peas, which she said she could easily eat for every meal because she usually has all the ingredients on hand.
Want to give Kendall’s signature pasta dish a go? It’s so simple and ready in minutes.
