Silky strands are a must...

Content Producer / September 11 2024

Jenna Ortega is having a moment of world domination, and we're ready to call her our leader, because those unbelievably silky soft looking strands have us sold. Well, that and her iconic performance in the "Taste" music video (IYKYK).

But back to the stands, because it was only a year ago that we found out that the star's top beauty essential is actually a hairbrush she's been using for over a decade (um, questionable). Though honestly, it must be working because those thick tresses would have even Rapunzel feeling some kind of way. And they looked chicer than ever at the premiere for her new film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

So, let's see the strand-styling products that gave Ortega her silky soft signature premiere looks...

We're calling it now, Jenna Ortega is a strand-styling chameleon.

Throughout the whole Beetlejuice Beetlejuice premiere press tour, she's consistently changed up her hair looks (iconic behaviour really), with help of hair superstar Bobby Eliot

From a range of soft and wavy updos to sleek straight styles, Ortega's looks have certainly caught our attention. So much so that we just had to find out what was being used to create them. And that's how we managed to come across this exciting piece of info...

Ortega's ultra-sleek straight silky strands are thanks to none other than Fenty Hair. Yep, it's a Rihanna x Jenna Ortega cross-over.

So, we don't actually know exactly which precise products Eliot used to create this silky, glossy look. But we do know that it's all thanks to Fenty Hair. So, we've scrolled the Fenty site and chosen three products we can see being involved in styling Ortega's stunning strands.

First up, we've got Fenty Hair The Comeback Kid ($67 at Fenty Beauty). This ultra-moisturising, reparative mask works to smooth, hydrate and rebuild bonds, which we're sure can be credited to Ortega's sleek, glossy strands. And because that look is so smooth and straight, we'd guess that Eliot could've used the strand-protecting Fenty Hair The Protective Type ($52 at Fenty Beauty). Designed to not only protect against heat damage, this luscious cream (nope, it's not a spray) adds in lightweight smoothing oils to gift hair with serious silkiness.

And because we're fairly certain Ortega's edges don't stay perfectly positioned in a beautiful spiral (although that would be the dream TBH), Eliot might've used the Fenty Hair The Controlling Type ($34 at Fenty Beautyto set them all in place.

Those are our guesses! We'll be waiting with bated breath to see if Eliot confirms...
