There’s so much to love about liquid cheek tints; not only are they long-wearing and the formula sets as it dries to ensure it won’t budge, but they’re also incredibly versatile and can be used on your lips, too. Follow these instructions for how to properly apply a cheek tint for a gorgeous flush of colour.
1
Pick the right colour
If you have fair skin, pick a product that has a pink tone, like Benefit BeneTint. For those with medium to olive skin, try a peach or coral tint, such as The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain in Vineyard Peach.
2
Swipe it on
Using the brush or sponge applicator, draw three light strokes on the apples of your cheeks, and then very quickly, use your fingertips to blend the colour in and up towards your temples before the product dries.
3
Repeat if necessary
If the colour isn’t deep enough, you can repeat the process and build it up to your desired intensity. As a general rule of thumb, the darker your skin tone, the more you can layer the product and build the colour without it looking unnatural.
