Beauty Crew sent Herbal Essences Potent Aloe & Eucalyptus Shampoo and Herbal Essences Potent Aloe & Eucalyptus Conditioner to a panel of women aged 18 to 34 with dry and dull hair.

The lowdown

Clean scalp and hair: Members loved how effective the shampoo was at stripping dirt and impurities from hair, while the menthol-infused formula helped to revitalise the scalp, leaving them with a fresh and clean mane after every wash.

The non-greasy conditioner: Members loved that they were able to apply the nourishing conditioner formula from root to ends without having to worry about product buildup or a greasy scalp.

“I have only ever used conditioner on the ends of my hair, avoiding the top of my head at all costs to ensure my hair didn't look or feel greasy. The instructions on this condition tell the user to use the product from root to tip, something I haven't seen on a conditioner label before… I gave this a go and was surprised how it made my hair feel. There were no greasy roots, just fresh smooth and silky hair that lasted. It's great to be able to protect and repair all of my hair, not just the ends.”

“In love with this range! I couldn’t believe when I first got this shampoo that it is cruelty free and no nasty chemicals in it and it’s colour safe for colour treated hair. First thing I noticed is the beautiful scent, I noticed I only had to use a very small amount of shampoo to my thick hair which is very unusual. It instantly felt as if it was doing something to my scalp, I could feel the tingling fresh sensation of menthol in my scalp and my hair and scalp felt really clean. After using this shampoo my hair felt really soft , bouncy and shiny.”
