Zoe Foster Blake just used a kitchen utensil to style her hair
The blow-drying hack curly-haired girls might want to know
Given Zoe Foster Blake is an ex-beauty editor and the founder of her very own skin care line, Go-To, you can pretty much expect she’s got a few genius beauty tricks up her sleeve.
Already we’ve discovered the controversial skin care treatment she swears by for brighter, smoother skin. We know how she tackled her thick, unmanageable pregnancy hair. She also gifted us the mind-blowing hack to get the most of our dry shampoo.
And today she comes bearing wisdom that all curly-haired girls are bound to adore – the blow-drying trick that’ll enhance natural waves and curls while minimising frizz. And it’s got everything to do with the kitchen utensil she paired with her hairdryer. Yes, a kitchen utensil.
Now, while one might use a standard diffuser attachment when drying curly hair, Zoe seems to have found herself without one, and reached for a humble kitchen strainer instead. Zoe posted on her Instagram Stories a shot of her Dyson hairdryer with said strainer, captioning the shot “Couldn’t find diffuser. Strainer, you’re up!”
This may not be the first time you’ve heard of this hack: American vlogger Gilan Sharfani previously showed us exactly how and why this trick works to dry curly hair, but now that it’s got ZFB’s stamp of approval, it may just further validate your decision to head to the shops and pick up a new hairstyling strainer! If you want to see the strainer hack in action, watch Sharfani's tutorial below:
