How to nail Hailey Bieber’s ‘clean girl’ aesthetic
Ever stared at Hailey Bieber’s perfect face for extended periods of time? Yeah, same.
What we want to know is A) what is Mrs. Bieber’s skin care routine? And B) what beauty products is she using and how is she using them?
Try as we might, we can never seem to nail the ‘clean girl’ aesthetic quite like she does.
But it seems that our communal prayers have been answered in the form of a step-by-step TikTok tutorial from the model and founder of Rhode beauty herself.
Pens and notebooks at the ready folks – we’re about to get schooled…
1/
Skin prep or die
The secret to perfecting the clean girl aesthetic? An airtight skin care routine.
Play your cards right and you should be able to get away with bare minimum makeup application like the sensei residing (Bieber, duh).
The 25-year-old’s weapons of choice?
Well, she kicks things off with a hydrating toner – Environ Skin EssentiA Botanical Infused Moisturising Toner ($74 at My Skin Clinics), to be precise.
This is then followed by the Rhode vitamin C serum and peptides x hyaluronic acid serum (launches pending).
And last but not least: SPF. Bieber sticks to celeb cult favourite EltaMD UV Clear Facial Sunscreen ($59 at Dick Smith) to keep her skin protected from harsh UV.
2/
Brows
Look, we’ll be the first to admit Hailey Bieber probably has a great brow tech on retainer. So, when it comes to daily maintenance, she’s able to keep things low-key with nothing but a clear brow gel.
In this instance? ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Clear Brow Gel ($39 at Sephora) tackles and trains the models brow hairs into perfectly coiffed arches.
3/
Blush
Unsurprisingly, Bieber prefers to splurge when it comes to her blush, opting for a (unfortunately limited edition and subsequently sold out) shade of Dior Backstage Blush – trust us we’re crying on all accounts.
However, judging by the 25-year-old’s specific use of the term ‘baby pink blush’, we’re assuming that the price tag in this case doesn’t necessarily matter – simply the hue.
Lucky for us, the Clinique Cheek Pop™ in ‘Pansy Pop’ ($42 at Clinique) serves as a near-perfect dupe for the stuff.
4/
Lips
Important but often forgotten, the last step in Bieber’s clean girl makeup routine (and honestly, ours too) is lips.
The Rhode beauty founder swears by the MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil in ‘Anywhere Caffeine’ (Waitlist Only at Sephora) for lining her plump pout and tops the look off with a lip hydrator. Personally, we’re opting for lip oils, but you do you boo.
The final look
So there you have it – the clean girl aesthetic explained by their unofficial spokeswoman.
Now go forth and get minimalistic folks…
Like Hailey Bieber, some celebrities just know what works for them. Case in point? Griff’s signature ball braid.
