It’s already been a big year for Rihanna. Despite denying us the new music we so sorely crave, she’s blessed us instead with the news of her pregnancy with A$AP Rocky, and a fresh Fenty Beauty lipstick drop.
It may not be literal music to our ears, but we’ll take it.
The 10 semi-matte finish shades are the brand’s first-ever bullet lipsticks, having previously released Lip Paint (a liquid format with an applicator wand) and Mattemoiselle (a slim lipstick with a soft-matte finish).

But that’s not all that’s special about the range dubbed ‘Icon’. The delicious selection of bold reds and neutrals are also designed with a precision tip, inspired by Rihanna’s unique cupid’s bow. We love a personal touch.
Plus, they’re all housed in refillable rose gold cases that look as luxe as they are environmentally conscious.
And you know how RiRi likes to road-test her formulas for months before letting us in on the product? Well, she did the same with her signature shade of red, aptly named ‘The MVP’ (a blue-red which may have ‘Ruby Woo’ shaking in its boots).

The Fenty Beauty Icon Lipsticks will be available at Sephora and fentybeauty.com from 4 February, 2022 for $35 a pop, with the refillable case sold separately for $21. Free shipping to Australia for orders over $110.
