Fans are speculating that Emma Stone has shaved her head
And she's been spotted wearing a wig on the red carpet
When it comes to director Yorgos Lanthimos, there's very little that Emma Stone won't do.
The pair have collaborated on back to back projects for the last few year, with each new film calling for Stone to adopt an all new look.
She piled her strawberry blonde hair onto her head to create believable 18th-century updos in The Favourite, donned a carpet-grazing jet black wig for Poor Things, and went copper and chopped her hair into a chin-length bob for Kinds Of Kindness.
Now, filming for Lanthimos' most recent feature 'Bugonia' appears to be underway, and according to some observant fans, Stone has switched up her appearance yet again for her favourite director.
But the actress hasn't just dyed her hair to get into character, it seems she's shaved her head.
The 35 year old was spotted strolling down Portobello Road in London wearing a a snugly fit beanie with nary a wisp of hair in sight. Considering the fact that we can't even spot a single flyaway or even the silhouette of strands under said beanie, we think that her fans might just be onto something.

Suspicions were further raised when Stone made an appearance at the New York Film Festival, and she was filmed adjusting her hair in such a way that one can only assume she is wearing a wig.
Usually we'd be hesitant to draw any kind of real conclusion based on these two clues alone, but knowing the lengths that Stone goes to for Lanthomos, we don't think that it's completely outside of the pair's wheelhouse to do something a little chaotic in the name of cinema.

She's not the first celeb to shave her head for a job. This is the real reason Florence Pugh decided to shave her head.
