Emily Ratajkowski confirms her pregnancy in a video reveal

Model Emily Ratajkowski has announced her pregnancy via a digital cover for Vogue magazine.

Although no due date accompanied the reveal, it's assumed her and husband Sebastian Bear-McClard will be expecting a baby in early 2021.

The couple is also keeping the gender under wraps, with Ratajkowski writing for the title that when people ask them, "Do you know what you want?", that they "like respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then. Everyone laughs at this."

In a video directed by friend and GIRLS creator, Lena Dunham, Ratajkowski speaks to her unborn child.

"We are waiting for you, wondering who you will be," she said, accompanied by footage of her inspecting her belly and cosying up at home.

Because although Ratajkowski is unphased by "whatever genitalia our child is born with", she's in awe about "who—rather than what—is growing inside my belly."

In the video she said, "there is a quietness that comes with pregnancy.  I'm listening for you. I'm full of wonder."

She also talks about dreaming of her baby in detail, describing how she envisioned brown hair that curls up and becomes blonde just like it's fathers.
