Did Lily Collins just cut her enviable long tresses?!
Or was it all for show?
ICYMI: season four of Emily In Paris has officially been teased (peep the Instagram update). Much like they did with our beloved Bridgerton, Netflix is releasing season four in two instalments. Part one will be dropping on August 15th and then part two a month later. And in lieu of the show itself, we’re here to give you some très chic inspo to get you in the Parisian mood.
Because while we can’t fly you to Paris, we can give you the next best thing: inspo. Between Lily Collins being undeniably French girl-coded and Emily In Paris being an absolute beauty-filled dream, there’s no shortage of inspo coming at us.
In season three Collins' character cut her own bangs (don't you dare do that), and now Collins herself has gone and made hair headlines IRL. At the latest Dior show, she premiered an ultra-chic bob that looks like it was straight out of the show. But the switch from long tumbling tresses to structured bob seems rather quick. So we’re not sure if she’s faked the style or if we’ve got some incredible hair looks to look forward to in the coming seasons…
Lily Collins Hair Inspo
If you’re anything like us, you take inspo from your fave TV shows and actors. So, when they cut their locks off, so do you. We might be speculating (jury’s still out after all) but maybe Collins new ‘do will become the modern version of ‘The Rachel’.
If this is the push you needed to finally try out the bob haircut trend, then it’s time to book that chop. What are you waiting for?
French beauty inspo
We get it, cutting your tresses off into a chic Parisian bob might be a step too far – we’ve all spent so long growing it out. And hey, we still don’t know if Collins herself faux’ed her way into French ‘it’ girl status. So for a less permanent but still French-approved beauty look try out some of these must haves instead.
Current Body Skin LED Light Therapy Face Mask
Quite literally seen on the show (IYKYK) this mask has major skin-boosting benefits. And because we know French women are proud to show off their flawless skin (we’re looking at you Sylvie), it’s time to work on our own visage.

Lancôme Lipsticks
Emily In Paris makeup artist Aurélie Payen isn’t one to shy away from spilling the French aesthetic secrets. Sharing throughout the years of filming that Emily’s lipstick looks transfer a lot of meaning. And we’ll be finding those insightful shades at French beauty icon, Lancôme.

We can’t wait to see what beauty looks are in store for us come season four. And if we find out about Collins faux bob sitch, you’ll be the first to know.
