The celebrity hairstyle Dannii Minogue can’t wait to copy
“I’m quite obsessed…she suits every hairstyle”
It’s clear Aussie beauty Dannii Minogue isn’t afraid to switch up her hair. Last year she made a drastic change and said goodbye to her brunette locks in favour of a stunning blonde look, before then switching to a vibrant new pink hue.
And when we caught up for a chat with the star at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Awards in Melbourne, she debuted yet another new hair colour – this time a striking metallic silver hue.
But apparently Dannii isn’t done yet – she’s already thinking about her next hair transformation.
The latest style to catch her eye? The L’Oréal Professionnel brand ambassador told us, “I want to go shorter. Like a bob. I’m quite obsessed with Khloe Kardashian - she suits every hairstyle – long, short, curly, straight, everything, and she’s done a really blunt bob. I would love to try that.”
While there have been countless variations of the bob over the last couple of years, there’s no doubt that the Khloe-esque short blunt cut is every bit chic and edgy – it’s the perfect face-framing style. We can see why Dannii is keen to copy it.
But a bob is not without its downfalls - with shorter hair you can’t rely on a trusty bun or the ol’ ponytail to save you on those ‘can’t be bothered’ days.
“There’s that fear…I love putting my hair up in a ponytail. Once [you’ve gone short] you can’t really tie it up at the back, it doesn’t work,” Dannii adds.
However it doesn’t sound like it’s going to hold her back: “You’ve got to commit but I’d love that short blunt bob.”
Sounds like her mind is made up…Stay tuned!
