Chrissy Teigen’s relatable tweet sparks a low-key hair revolution
Whether it’s opening up about her hormonal acne or sharing her profound love for pizza, Chrissy Teigen’s incredible honesty on social media is EVERYTHING. And the latest confession from the Queen of Twitter has got women embracing a very natural part of ageing.
The 32-year-old model wrote: “I have a skunk like streak of grey hair and I’m actually very into it. My cruella dreams are coming true!”
And just like that we have a low-key grey hair revolution. People were quick to praise Chrissy for embracing her grey hair - and it was beautiful.
Fans and fellow Twitter users immediately started tweeting photos and stories of their grey hair, banding together and totally owning it with the hashtag #embracethegray.
One Twitter user shared a picture of herself and wrote, “I have had grey hair since I was 9 years old. Embrace the grey!! It’s beautiful!”
Another fan replied with a photo of his beard and wrote, “These aren’t my grey hairs. These are my life experience stripes and I’ve earned each one proudly!”
Our personal favourite? Twitter user KeepOnBelieveInn wrote: “That isn’t gray…that is SILVER…sparkles like the stars we are!!”
