Chrissy Teigen reveals she had a breast augmentation at 20

When it comes to sharing her personal life, model and Twitter takedown queen Chrissy Teigen has always been like an open book. From candidly posting snaps of her postpartum body to revealing her favourite anti-ageing mask, Chrissy isn’t afraid to bare her real self online. 

Now, she’s opened up on a topic she’s never spoken about before: Her breast augmentation.

“I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old,” Chrissy says in a new interview with Glamour UK.

“It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky. But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed,” the star says.

But that’s not all. The former Sports Illustrated model has also shared the implant size she went for.

“I kept them the same cup size, I just filled them out, so they are rounder and firmer. I had a quarter ‘teardrop’ cup in the bottom and filled out the breast line."

However, Chrissy admits that at this point in time she’d prefer to have her implants removed and to have a breast lift instead. But, a fear that the procedure could go wrong keeps her from undergoing any further surgeries.

“When you have kids you think about [the risks] of surgery and I think, ‘this is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery,’” Chrissy says.

And, we’d just like to say how impressed we are by Chrissy’s continuing openness on speaking out on such personal issues. Well done Chrissy, more power to you!
