Charli XCX has some seriously 'un-brat' beauty faves
Including a rather exxy fragrance
ICYMI (and TBH it's impossible that you have, but it's officially brat summer; or winter if you're us), with CharliXCX naming green the colour of the season and giving the girlies the power to be as messy as they want.
With all that in mind, you'd imagine that the touring star would opt for a grunge-y scented perfume, but we're here to tell you, Charli XCX's favourite fragrance is so un-brat. But don't worry she still puts her classic IDGAF spin on it. So, let's find out a little bit about her celeb-backed fragrance...
Charli XCX Perfume
In a long British GQ Tiktok, the carefree star shared some of her must-have essentials. And when the Byredo Bibliothèque EDP ($434 at MECCA) came on the screen, we audibly gasped.
Because, CharliXCX is the least likely star in our opinion to be caught with an expensive, library-scented favourite perfume. And we say 'library-scented' we mean literally transported back to an the kind of old, wooden-clad, leather chair libraries you only see in films. With notes of peach, plum, peony, violet, leather, patchouli, vanilla and musk bringing the world to life.
But all of this to still say, the 'clean girl-ness' of the scent still gets a brat twist with her notorious habit for over-spraying the scent. The singer clarified, however, that she couldn't give an eff if anyone thinks it's overpowering that way: "that's their problem, not mine, because I think it smells great".
But that's not the only surprising scent the star loves (and will make sure she takes on tour)...
Charli XCX's Fave Candle
And when it comes to touring, she swears by making her green rooms, well, a little bit more green (it's so brat after all). But don't worry, the Diptyque Figuier Verte Candle ($154 at MECCA) isn't solely for aesthetic purposes. No, she displays two of the warming, fig-scented candles in her dressing rooms because they really "aren't super glamourous" and TBH the greenrooms are "often kind of smelly and gross", but don't worry because "these (candles) really fix that problem".
Like we said, neither of these picks are exactly giving 'brat', but we're so here for the melding worlds of mainstream and messy.
