Camila Morrone wears *this* cult-classic lip liner in 'Daisy Jones & The Six'

You'll want to nab her character's blush and base faves, too

We’re officially done moodboarding ‘natural makeup’. Why? Because Camila Morrone’s onscreen (and similarly named counterpart) Camilla Dunne has mastered it once and for all in the book-to-TV adaption of Daisy Jones & The Six. Pair that with her signature soft blowout and you’ve got utter magic.

As the show’s most ‘natural’ gal (who spends more time behind the camera than in front of a crowd), her makeup aesthetic is somehow both gorgeously polished and refreshingly undone. And while the vibe is undeniably ‘70s, it’ll work just as well now as it did then. Hoorah for cyclical beauty!

So if you’re after a cheat sheet to replicating her exact onscreen look, you’re in luck! The show’s Makeup Department Head Rebecca Wachtel revealed all her faves (including a famed lip liner you might just already own) when BEAUTYcrew caught up with her…

How to get Camila’s makeup from ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’

“Camila is a natural beauty who doesn't wear much makeup, and that doesn’t change throughout the series even into her age makeup,” Wachtel explains. “I really just went with her natural tones and what was reminiscent of the era."

“For the early ‘70s, we gave her a sun-kissed natural glow. Towards the later ‘70s, you will see soft brown eyeshadows and subtle cheek colour," she explained of the character's beauty evolution.

Wachtel stresses that a natural aesthetic is key to copying Camila’s vibe. “[Apply a layer of] light foundation for a clean skin tone, [but] let your natural freckles shine through. Add cream blush and bronzer, as well as mascara on the top and bottom lashes. [To finish], use a natural tone lip pencil to create a clean shape and add lip balm on top.”

Her big three players? Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation ($148 at MECCA), Julie Hewett Los Angeles Cheekie in ‘Rosie’ ($43 at Julie Hewett Los Angeles), and Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in ‘Pillow Talk’ ($35 at Charlotte Tilbury).

Looking like a '70s bombshell never sounded so simple!
