Britney Spears just debuted a dramatic new hair cut

If there's two things Britney Spears is synonymous with, it's dancefloor bangers and long blonde hair. 

Aside from her brief stint with a shaved head and her debut Disney days, Spears has rarely sported short hair. In fact, the singer generally opts for waist-length extensions instead.

But it seems the 39-year-old is getting ahead of the 'new year, new hair' crowd by recently chopping her length to a collarbone-grazing style. And we must say, Spears looks chic.

The Las Vegas resident captioned the Instagram pic: "Cut my hair!!!! You know what they say.... out with the old.... in with the new !!!!! Now let us pray !!!!"

Here's hoping the new cut symbolises a fresh start for Spears, who's been shaking off 'Free Britney' theories for the past six months and even managed to burn down her own gym. 2021 is looking up already.
