Here’s what the 'Blue Water High' cast looks like today

Look, we don't like to make a habit of generalising, but if you were an Australian teen with a television circa 2005 and you weren't obsessed with Blue Water High, you're, um, totally lying.

We also won't accept the fact that you A) didn't have a giant crush on Heath, Edge or Matt, or B) want to be Bec, Fly, Anna or Perri. Honestly, give up the ruse, we all did; nobody did surfer chic like the Solar Blue gang.

But while we'd like to say that we're still living our best vicarious lives through our beloved surf academy gang, a lot of time has actually passed. In fact, the cast looks pretty damn different today (it has been 17 years, after all).

So, if you're ready to feel old and young again all at once, here's a sneaky peek at what the Blue Water High cast look like now...

Sophie Luck (Fiona 'Fly' Watson)

No, we didn't remember the 'Fiona' of it all, either; Luck will always be the sandy-haired 'Fly' to us. Now, however, she switches between her signature blonde and this darker brunette shade.

Khan Chittenden (Dean "Edge" Edgely)

When you think of Edge you think of that incredible hair, huh? Well, luckily it's still going super strong. Chittenden's swapped his baby face for a beard now though. Chic.

Tahyna Tozzi (Perri Lawe)

She was the most glamorous gurfer at Solar Blue, that's for sure, and Tozzi has only gone from strength to strength, now embracing life as a (strikingly stunning) brunette.

Adam Saunders (Heath Carroll)

Okay, so he's not exactly the beachy brunette we remember (cough, *were obsessed with*), but hey, we give him serious points in the 'pulling off pink hair like a pro' arena.

Mara Scherzinger (Anna Peterson)

She was the fresh-faced German kiteboarder-turned-surfer that we all knew and loved back in 2005, but Scherzinger's more recent characters have called for a little extra drama in the beauty department.

Chris Foy (Matt Leyland)

He may have left the beaded necklace and the nipple ring behind (Matt may have liked surfing but he loved accessorising), however, Foy still has us swooning IRL. That jawline, huh?

Kate Bell (Bec Sanderson)

Bell's back to rocking Bec's go-to side part (after a brief stint with blunt bangs), but it appears she's left lip gloss behind, opting for an even more natural aesthetic now than she did back in the day.
