These are the beauty products she *actually* uses
Whether she’s in full-glam mode on the red carpet, or off-duty in her trademark effortless street style, Blake Lively always delivers next-level beauty inspiration.
We mean, where do we even start – there’s that flawless, glowing skin and her endless cascades of blonde curls, and remember that time she wore an epic Deadpool manicure in honour of her husband Ryan Reynolds? Let’s face it, the gal is a total beauty icon and we’ve been crushing on her since the Gossip Girl days.
So when we saw she posted a snap of her beauty stash on her Instagram Stories, naturally we were falling over ourselves to see exactly what beauty products Blake Lively uses.
Of course, it’s not surprising that there are a fair few high-end beauty brands with the likes of La Mer, CHANEL and Giorgio Armani in there (she is an A-lister, after all), but we were also pleasantly surprised to see a few budget-friendly beauty buys scattered in there, too – we’re looking at you Burt’s Bees!
And heck, can we just say, she uses a LOT of Charlotte Tilbury makeup products, although it’s not shocking considering Blake Lively and Charlotte Tilbury are friends.
As you can see, she’s got a HEAP of products in her collection – these are some of Blake Lively’s beauty products you might want to think about adding to your own makeup kit.
Dior Diorshow Mascara
It looks Diorshow has made the cut as Blake’s go-to mascara. We’re not surprised – this goodie has been on high-rotation in many makeup artists’ kits for years and its lash-lengthening powers have been widely praised.
shu uemura eyelash curler
If you want to have a solid lash game like Blake, you’ll want to invest in a good eyelash curler to prep your lashes before mascara. The shu uemura eyelash curler has earned itself a cult following around the world and it seems Blake is on board, too.
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow
As we mentioned, there’s a lot of Charlotte Tilbury going on in Blake’s beauty kit but we’re singling out that large, luxe-looking gold compact as there’s no going past that bad boy. We’ll bet our bottom dollar that’s Charlotte Tilbury’s Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette. With two complementary shades for highlighting and sculpting, this palette is a red carpet essential. And with a name like Filmstar, could it be any more fitting for our on-screen golden girl?
Essie Nail Colour
A polished yet simple manicure is in keeping with Blake’s elegant style and we were delighted to see one of our favourite nail polish brands, Essie, in there. From the photo, we’d hazard a guess that’s the classic shade Ballet Slippers. Fun fact: Blake’s in good company here as it’s also the Queen’s fave!
Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm
When it comes to lip balm, we can’t go past Burt’s Bees and it seems our pal Blake can’t either. The beeswax lip balm formulas are super hydrating and made with natural ingredients.
Kérastase Mousse Volumifique
Blake’s photo must be one of the most common inspo pics presented to hairstylists; we’re certain of it. So how does she keep her signature blonde tresses in check? It would appear by incorporating a styling product that also contains ingredients to strengthen her hair, such as this one. Thanks for the hot tip, Blake!
Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer
It seems Blake is a fan of the Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer – we spotted not one, but two shades in her kit. This foolproof highlighter is incredibly easy to apply and can be swept over the cheekbones and highpoints of the face, or you can mix it with foundation for an all-over glow.
