Blake Lively just wore THE most epic manicure
It’s both extra and adorable at the same time
It’s both extra and adorable at the same time
Not only did Blake Lively dress the part on the Deadpool movie premiere red carpet (she absolutely NAILED the black and red colour scheme), but she also took it that step further with her fan-inspired beauty look.
In support of husband Ryan Reynolds, the actress showed off the most epic (and meaningful) manicure we ever did see. She *actually* had the action hero character (played by Ryan), painted on her fingernails. If this isn’t love, we don’t know what is.
While it may look like your average black mani from a distance, if you take a closer squiz you’ll actually see that two of her nails have the face of the Deadpool character painted on them, with one nail sporting a glittery ‘X’. So. Adorable.
Blake posted a close-up of her nail art on Instagram, captioning the post, "THE cassette tape, a portrait of Deadpool on my nail, an X-Force nail, a full DP heart on, and a ring like Collossus’ fist. Can you tell I’m proud of my Deadpool? I mean my husband. I mean Deadpool. Honestly I can’t tell the f@*#%ng difference... #deadpool2"
Courtesy of celebrity nail stylist Elle, who was also responsible for Blake’s next-level 2018 Met Gala manicure (starring ALL the jewels), we think this would have to be one of our favourite red carpet manicure moments, and yes - it successfully makes us want to see Deadpool even more!
With her blonde locks worn loose and combed back, Blake teamed her flawless manicure with a crimson pedicure and velvety crimson lips - quite possibly our new go-to shade for the chillier months.
