Blake Lively just posted the most hilarious red carpet snap

Blake Lively just proved that beauty comes before men in one hilariously savage post - and she officially wins at Instagram.

The actress posted a photo of herself and husband Ryan Reynolds on the red carpet for the New York premiere of A Quiet Place. And some quality trolling ensued.

The photo depicts Ryan looking adoringly at Blake and while one would assume the photo would be accompanied by a sweet caption about their loving relationship, Blake focused on drawing attention to her impressive hairstyling skills instead. 

In the photo caption she wrote, "If there's one thing I'm infinitely proud of in this picture, it's the incredible hair styling that I did on myself.”

So. Ruthless. (But seriously, that 'do!)

And would Ryan take such a roasting? We think not. He replied to Blake’s photo with just as much sass: “I was so happy back then.”

Blake’s hilarious post comes just one week after Ryan took to Twitter to respond to divorce rumours with the tweet saying, “I wish”.

All jokes aside, can we just point out that Blake totally nailled her DIY ponytail! While braids have become one of the hottest hairstyles as of late, the truth is that they can be *so* damn hard to do yourself.

And yet, we have Blake over here sporting not only the most complex-looking DIY braid, but one with an intricately woven ribbon. We’re just a little bit impressed.
