The unexpected product that keeps Beyoncé’s brows looking fierce

Aside from the fact that she can rock a killer high ponytail and can pull off almost any lip colour in existence, there is actually very little that we know about Beyonce’s beauty routine. So when her trusted makeup artist, Sir John – who has also worked with the likes of the army Victoria’s Secret Angels, Olivia Culpo and Kim Kardashian – revealed to E! News one of the insider brow tips he swears by, we couldn’t wait to hear what it was.

And trust us, it was a doozy.

Behold Sir John’s bizarre solution to tame bushy brows: “My [favourite] beauty hack is to use Elmer’s glue stick as the ultimate brow gel in the heat,” he said. “It doesn’t clog your pores and washes off easily.”  

This is definitely one of the more interesting beauty hacks we’ve heard. And if you are game enough to try it yourself (although we would still recommend a brow gel such as NYX Control Freak Eye Brow Gel) we must note that while the Elmer’s Glue Stick Sir John uses goes on purple and dries clear, it’s also non-toxic, acid-free and washable. Which are all non-negotiable qualities to look for in a glue stick if you’re thinking of going Beyoncé’s route of brow styling.
