Bella Hadid wins the award for best beauty looks at Cannes
That glow though!
Cannes has been delivering some truly stellar beauty looks both on and off the red carpet, including Selena Gomez *killing* her first major red-carpet appearance since taking a break from the spotlight earlier this year.
But the real show-stopper of the 72nd Cannes Film Festival has been Bella Hadid.
The Dior ambassador visited the French Riviera with her extended Dior fam and can we just say the results were spectacular. Read on for our lowdown of Bella’s best beauty looks.
Dior x Vogue Paris Dinner
Bella kicked off the weekend at a dinner in Paris with Dior and Vogue, which celebrated the start of the film festival. Bella looked like a blushing dream with varying shades of nude in her makeup, and subtle pops of peachy-pink on her cheeks and lips. The look was topped off with a subtle champagne highlighter applied to the high points of her face, which was framed perfectly by her new cool-girl piecey fringe. Later on in the evening, Bella was seen posing with supermodel royalty Carla Bruni, who is apparently the third missing Hadid sister, because, the resemblance between the two is uncanny!
Red Carpet for Elton John’s Rocketman Biopic Premiere
Bella *stunned* everyone when she glided down the red carpet in haute couture Dior and Dior makeup. And in even better news, Dior shared the products that were used to create her glowy nude makeup look via their Instagram. That radiant complexion was achieved with the Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation applied all over the face, while the Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette in Glitz and the Dior Backstage Contour Palette were used to sculpt and highlight her face in what can only be described as truly popping cheekbones. A soft wash of taupe eyeshadow was brushed over the lids and the lips retained a similar hue using the Dior Addict Lip Maximiser in Pink.
Red Carpet for Pedro Almodovar’s Pain and Glory Premiere
What a way to finish the first weekend of the Cannes Film Festival! Bella has been known to rock the absolute *heck* out of a red dress at previous years at Cannes, however this year she has truly outdone herself. The vibrant, rich red on her lips is none other than Rouge Dior Matte Lipstick in the shade 999, and was the true focal point of this look. That said, it’s her gorgeous and flawless complexion that takes this lip to the next level. Matte in all the right places with hints of dewiness on the brow bone, cheeks and bridge of the nose, it completely elevates this look and keep it from looking like every other attempt at a red lip. The look is topped off with soft washes of bronze and blush across her cheeks and lids, while her perfectly shaped arches have lightly been shaded in with a warm taupe to further enhance the overall mood of refined glamour. TO. DIE. FOR.
