Hollywood loves false lashes. When celebs need to stand out on camera and on the red carpet, they’re a must. But they work IRL, too. You can opt for something subtle or you can go big and bold - fake eyelashes even have the power to change the shape of your eyes.

Take it from these celebs - there are so many ways to make false eyelashes work for you (psst, if you’re looking for a good pair of falsies, we reviewed our faves over here).

Elsa Hosk

It’s kind of reassuring to see that Elsa’s natural lashes are not dissimilar to our own - stunning but lacking oomph. We don’t know about you, but we have a sudden urge to go buy some long falsies for that my-lashes-but-better VS Angel bombshell vibe.

Kendall Jenner

Out of all the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kendall loves a natural look the most. But even she knows a set of falsies can amp up your makeup, especially when you’re opting for a smouldering smoky eye. They’re great for making sure your lashes don’t get lost under all those black layers of eyeshadow and eyeliner.

Shay Mitchell

We love the wispy style of Shay’s fake lashes. They help widen her eyes while still having a natural vibe that will have everyone second-guessing whether they’re real or not. Side note: We predict she's wearing cruelty-free faux mink lashes - her go-to makeup artist Patrick Ta has confessed to using them on her in the past, plus they give a really nice ‘real lash’ look like Shay has here.

Kylie Jenner

It’s pretty rare to see Kylie Jenner without a set of dramatic fake eyelashes on. While we love seeing Kylie bare-faced, she sure knows how to enhance the shape of her eyes with a false lash and winged eyeliner combo.

Gigi Hadid

For this look, Gigi cleverly chose false lashes that matched the shape of her natural lashes for the look of her lashes, only thicker, fuller and darker. And the result is hard to look away from!

Jennifer Lopez

Talk about doll eyes! From just mascara on the left to the biggest set of false lashes we’ve ever seen on the right, J.Lo’s eyes have gone from almond-shaped to round doe-eyes. Ah, the power of falsies.
